Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dropped Daniel Sturridge once again for tonight's Merseyside Derby with Everton.

SUBS: Ward, Toure, Smith, Stewart, Allen, Ibe, Sturridge.

* * As expected, Klopp has made significant changes for tonight's game (9 in total), including the relegation of 'brilliant' striker Daniel Sturridge to the bench.
* Sturridge has 5 goals/assists in his last six starts, and at the weekend, he scored one goal, and created another against Bournemouth. Despite this, he is dumped on the bench for another of the club's biggest games of the season.
* Joe Allen is also back on the bench, which makes little sense given his excellent performance against Bournemouth. Klopp clearly doesn't rate Allen enough to make him a mainstay in the team, and judging by the team selection, he'd rather have Milner in midfielder.
* Klopp-favourite Adam Lallana hasn't scored for nine games, or provided an assist in the last five, but also returns to the starting lineup.
