"I joined the best team!" - 28-goal striker adds insult to LFC injury...

Much to the chagrin of Reds fans everywhere, Liverpool lost out on top target Clint Dempsey in dramatic fashion on transfer deadline day, with Tottenham Hotspur once again capitalising on FSG's refusal to 'overpay for players'. Dempsey had his heart set on a move to Anfield, but he's still excited about the move across London to Spurs.

In an interview with The Guardian earlier today, Dempsey spoke of his happiness over taking a step down joining Spurs, and revealed that he had no regrets over the failure of his move to Anfield, and even hinted that Spurs are a better team than the Reds. He noted:

"I always wanted to play at the highest level possible. It's a dream of mine to play Champions League and you want to play on the best team possible to try to get there.'

"I think [Spurs] is a perfect fit. They qualified for a place last season for the Champions League but missed out on a technicality. But it's still in London. It couldn't have worked out any better in that regard"

To be fair, Dempsey is probably right about Spurs being the 'best team possible' when it comes to CL qualificationpotential. Quite simply, Andre Villas Boas' squad is stronger than Rodgers' at the moment, especially in the goalscoring department, and by the end of the season, I fully expect both Dempsey and Gylfi Sigurdsson to be in double figures on the goalscoring front.

Nothing is certain though - Spurs haven't exactly set the Premier League alight, and after three games, AVB's team has only one point more than Liverpool, which has prompted criticism from the club's fans.

Despite the criticism, Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has, somewhat surprisingly, thrown his support behind AVB, and accused Spurs fans of 'knee-jerkism'. He told The Mirror:

"Spurs will be fine this season. I can see them winning lots of games because that is a fine squad and I'm not even that bothered about the fact that they didn't sign the Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho. AVB has recruited some good players there and I think they will deliver".

Obviously, I hope Lawro is wrong (!)

  4. Taking a step down? lol, stop living on past glory and recognise than simply, you are not even in the top 6 teams in England any more.

  5. Get relegated wot planet you on tosser

  6. Seems like some spurs fans lost their GPS!

  7. Sorry guys. That's the second time we've done that to you this transfer window. I couldn't believe it when I saw him walk into Spurs Lodge. I thought then "Christ! They're going to hate us up in Liverpool".

You did get the manager that Spurs fans wanted (although not me - I always wanted AVB) although don't know how much consolation that'll be.

Anyway, sorry once more and best of luck for the season.

  8. One small thing - didn't Dempsey only score 23 last season?

  11. Have no probs with Liverpool. I think the yanks have hamstrung Rodgers. £6mill for Clint seems a very fair price to pay particularly when you consider the expenditure for downing carroll etc. maybe there's no loot left as kk spunked it up the wall?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm kind of glad that Dempsey didn't come to Liverpool. There isn't one mention of apology for signing to Fulham's rivals, "Its still in London!". I'm sure this guy would think of Everton as any other team.

  13. You waste man Liverpool Are just getting started wait n see

  14. Oh what a short memory some supporters have...I also see some decent comments by some Spurs fans. I think Spurs will be above us again this season no doubt about that. My beloved team is in a mess just now, I will always follow them no matter what. My only interest is that Liverpool FC gets itself sorted out and gets back to a standard I expect.

  15. I imagine Fulham were holding out for more money from Liverpool given their distaste for the way we pursued Dempsey all summer. If they had to choose 6M from LFC or 6M from Spurs, they'll take 6M from Spurs just to spite us.

    Oh wait a minute....

    Damn it!!!! :(

  18. dempsey was never the solution .....he had a freak year last year that wont happen again.......where exactly would he play. Hes not a center forward and is to slow for a winger fulham built there game around him ..that wont be the case at Liverpool ...hell be at the back of the line for free kicks and will be lambasted if he misses

    ReplyDelete
  19. spurs may well finish above us but it wont be top 4 and thats all that matters

    ReplyDelete
  20. Here we go again , yes he did score all those goals last year ,but let's be realistic - Clint Dempsey was not a solution , spurs fans remember - class is permanent ,so even if we have a little wobble ,in the big scheme of things spurs will always be a 2 nd tear club as far as elite clubs go and whilst they have good supporters and even got into champions league once ,what are their chances of ever wining it ? Big fat zero!!! Even the plastic clubs like PSG,Chelsea, Manchester City,Qpr,Angi and others with rich owners and no class will never have the following and adoration that we have all around the world . Also ,it's worth remembering that only 3 years ago we were fighting for the title and were ranked number 1 in Europe premier competition for 3 years in the row ,the very competition that all those other teams trying to get in so badly ,by the way Spurs have been outspending LFC consistently since 2005 ,what have they won in that time ? We all know the answer . Mr Levy will get tired and move on and spurs will become again a mid table club because they will not be able to sustain it ,but we will bounce back very soon - no doubt ! Keep faith and become real supporters rather than silly fans with no sense of history and understanding. Stay positive .....

  21. Gilstrap while he (Dempsey) was not the long term solution he is better than anything we what we brought in this summer in the goal scoring department. A lot of people like you seem to think that just because a player is 29 years old he is not capable of performing at a highest level. He scored all those goals at Fulham, and mind I remind you that another person who had a freak season is 28 and led the whole league at Arsenal ( Mr Robin Van Persie). Van Persie has indeed moved to United because a lot of people still think it is possible for him to score like he did in Arsenal last season in this new season. He has already started got his first hat-trick last weekend against Southhampton. He and Dempsey are in great shape and there is nothing that says that they can't keep out performing the younger kids in the Premiership. Liverpool's position is clear on building with youth but the thing about that position is that you will have to wait for the youth to finally mature which really means no major competitive competitions for some time to come. No top four finish , no champions league till this group of youngsters really start to gel and grow more comfortable with each other and the new playing style that they have to adopt. What John Henry of FSG failed to mention in his open letter is that the results that every fan want to see ( Liverpool contesting for all major honors ) won't be a realistic achievement for some time to come till the youngsters find their feet. Bringing some seasoned vets injects a little experience into the team which can go a very long way.

  22. they have never been a great prem side sorry lol!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. He was more of a solution than signing no-one at all. Stop being daft.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's worse than that, we could get relegated before these youth step up, and the majority of them may never step up. Where will we be then. FSG are tw@s!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Turn around how? Will a genie grant us a decent forward line and bench?

    ReplyDelete
  26. liverpool are a spent team bet you wished rafa benitez didn't go LOOL

    ReplyDelete
  27. Are you joking or do you actually think that?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Glad to see you crossed out taking a step down since spurs after all finished 4th while Liverpool finished as expected in firs.........sorry eight. Don't attack us because you didn't sign him and now have to pay the price

    ReplyDelete
  29. This position by FSG is why i think you shouldn't have management making clearly foot-balling decisions. Management has stated their concerns with older players. It is clear that they are only worried about the financial aspect of the dealings. The manager is worried about putting together a more competitive side as quickly as humanly possible. Having stated that Brendan Rodgers will be given as much time as he needs to bring the club back management has openly admitted IMO that it is going to be a long term project to be really competitive once again.

Playing with youth works well for Barcalona because the majority of their team is comprised of former academy players . These cats grew up in the Barca system and understand the philosopy of the club and have developed a great working relationship over the years. They are so connected that they can almost anticipate what each other is going to do even before they do it. That type of connection can only come from year of working together.

  31. i never mentioned age .....demsey had a fluke season ...it wont happen again playing dempsey with borini and suarex looks no better than playing stirling with them.....our problem is we wont grasp the nettle and make the big decisions with players ...rodgers has to show hes boss its the only way his system will work

    ReplyDelete
  32. I thought Spurs fans have slightly more class than that, remember Levy does not have the money to compete with Chelsea, man city and even qpr ,so his approach will bring very rainy days to the white hart lane and maybe then our approach will start making sence to you ,because we will be back and soon ,but you guys should really start getting worried ,besides with all that talent ,how many point did you get in the first 3 games ? I rest my case....
Ps . AVB will get you into Europa league perhaps ,but even if you get into CL ,what chances do you have of ever wining it ? I know you get me. By the way ,you supporting a great club ,not like the plastic ones to which you ,for some strange reason you are trying to emulate ,forget it - money talk.....

  33. Good one stan, no way you can back up tottenham's higher spending since 2005. Complete tosh, pratt

  35. To be brutally honest, fulham arent our rivals. They're on the other side of London and havent been historically consistently good enough to establish a rivalry.

  36. never mind getting goals how about a new keeper. avb has already p#ssed off there new one, maybe a cheeky bidin jan
actually whats the point, he could be a few mill and we would still miss out. maybe we could loan one for half a season, or get one thats 17 years old.
maybe we might end up loaning a new stadium.
    just laughing stock

    ReplyDelete
  37. You were more than welcome to avb . Most my mates who are spurs fans deep down know he is not the man to get you success. But then they are kind of used to that.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Glad we did'nt get Dempsey, he's o.k. but we already have enough o.k. players. With FSG don't think we'll be looking to buy proven class anymore, sad, but i don't think they care too much about winning the league, think they'll try the Arsenal way and bring in young talent and sell them on for a tidy profit. Won't be long before fans turn on them.

    ReplyDelete
  39. dempsey has veen getting stronger every year he.has.been with fulham...and he is now at his peak. he can play upfront or on the wing. he would suit a 433 formatoon aswell as the one we are currently playing. he scored more goals than vdv last season......so to get him + 4 million for vdv is a good deal. he will score 15 + i reckon in all comps

    ReplyDelete
  40. stan what are u chating about? u r smoking way too much weed. first of all spurs have alot of money......but will only spend it when they need to. levy is as tight as they come. he is jewish for christ sake.trust me if anyone would usually hesitate on paying any money on somone 29 or upwards its daniel levy. so dempsey was a huge bargain that even levy took. what were liverpool thinking? all for the sake of saving 2 million. and then to top it all off u give ur 35 million pound british record signing to west ham on loan. if i was a lpool fan i would be very pissed off. so stan.....do u get me? i know u do buddy

  44. Spurs fan here... I think Spurs and Liverpool are very similar in terms of where they are in terms of development/ looking forward. They both have very decent squads and I think they both have decent managers with a lot of potential. Whether that potential will be released in Rodgers and AVB remains to be seen.

Will Dempsey make a difference at Spurs? I fkn hope so! Because we are blunt in attack and have been since selling Berbatov all those many moons ago.

I think the main differences between Spurs and L´Pool are:
Financial situation - Spurs are solid but match day income is lacking due to not having a high capacity stadium. Salaries are kept well in check and it the club is run as a tight ship.

Liverpool are willing (or where until recently) to spend a lot more money on players and salaries and as such have had a lot more "marquee" signings whereas Spurs have developed players in to marquee types and then sold them on at ridiculous mark ups.

I am not sure on Liverpool's current debt position and attitude towards spending the biug bucks now but they do need to think about rpelacing Gerard in the coming years and how does any club go about something like that??! Spurs have had the same problem this season losing both King and Modric.
One advantage L´pool have that Spurs do not (although it is a long, long term goal) is the value of their brand. it is unarguably one of the best in the football world so a few years losses can quickly be extinguished by few years of "belt tightening" - the money will always keep coming in for Liverpool regardless of 3 or 4 years in the doldrums - something Spurs cannot expect, hence always having to work to a strict financial regime.

Both clubs are in transition - that much is obvious and as a Spurs fan I am not expecting great things this season, I would imagine Liverpool fans are thinking along the same lines. But whilst we consolidate and re-arrange our squads on a budget, other clubs look to be running way foul of the FIFA FFP rulings and I really hope they are brought to bare for it.

We´ll always have great clubs to support, the futures bright for both. I cant see either of us struggling this season but nor do I see either club excelling.

  45. Loads of great and not so great comments. Some well deserved and some not...

But guys when you have a club with history and substances, not wanting to buy success, which btw all companies don't nowadays... and love for the club is more "than life"... what it all comes down to is really simple

Liverpool is a way of life, Liverpool is a condition in your heart and Liverpool has, as the only club in the world, YNWA...

    Need i say more

    YNWA, LFC 4 Life

  46. FFS, now i have to watch Owen signing for Stoke....Jeez, its like im being tortured or something....is there any end to this suffering..?

Probably not because next up i'll have to watch Gerrard on the bench.... :(

Personally i think those neutrals out there esp those who don't like us will be laughing like they've never laughed before, just reading that Spurs fan's post above really brings it all back home....

I mean IF we were playing them in our next match they would for sure feel a lot more confident of a result knowing Carroll would not be on the pitch at all... and Gerrard could be on the bench...

Shocking state of affairs. Laughing stock Liverpool....that'll be us atm.

Just one injury to Suarez and we are going down like a sack of spuds...pardon the pun.

  48. Good point - Barca had some tough years in 2003-2005, and were nearly relegated in 2003 before they're youth (iniesta, messi) blossomed.

  49. Wow. Thought Liverpool fans were supposed to know their football. You've even had some graciously fair comments from our lot in the face of your WUM tripe and still you're giving it large. Newsflash scousers...you're awful. The worst Liverpool team in my lifetime (over 30 years). You'll struggle again this season for any European qualification whatsoever and for the foreseeable future and you know it. I used to like Liverpool but you're misplaced sense of entitlement because of your "history" is really wearing quite thin and I'm actually going to enjoy watching Everton finish above you...again. As for Spurs, it'll be a while before you finish above us again. So you just keep dwelling wistfully on the 80s.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well put, even for a Spurs fan ;).
Only worry for our clubs is we're relying on the FFP rules to be effective fairly soon in order for us to see any sustained period of success in the medium term, which i have my doubts at how effective they will be given the way Chelsea, PSG, and City have been going. Money is power, and they have enough to bend the rules.

  52. It's time LFC stopped depending on 1 player (SG), which is exactly what BR is doing so be a fan and support ...

LFC will come back to challenge, maybe not this year but we will.

It's a sound strategy FSG has put down and we, as supporters, will have to support it...

Look at the PL and LFC is the team right now with most young players with extreme qualities, british, so why worry....

Yes we have a scoring problem, and let me quote Dagger... its not only the attackers, its all members in the team...

We haven had this much quality for years so stop crying...

YNWA means more than transfers and big names. LFC is about an institute where you want to be because you love it and not for the money - which i like ... Might i recall Dagger not wanting to go to Man C ( no disrespect to them) cause he's a scouse (danish one lol)

We are bigger than minding insults from chelski, manure, tottenford etc etc... where culture is money and no attachment is to the club

LFC is for life - life is what dreams are made of, not cash!

so i salute you all oil infected success clubs with respect, but i'll stay LFC even it's championship

    ReplyDelete
  53. While not the best line-up, I hope young Morgan gets a run in if the other two fail to perform... maybe he can turn out to be the best thing coming out of the youth system along with STERLING and start banging in the goals :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey Stan - you are trash talking our points tally after 3 games against WBS, City, and Arsenal. Spurs have 1 point more than us, in games against Norwich, WBA, and Newcastle. At least you should be comparing apples to apples.

    ReplyDelete
  55. SG has done this club for a decade but now he has to do it backwards... give the man some respect...

did you not chear at the CL final ? and so many other occasions?

SG is and will be our greatest player... he is a dude that has to have max power where BR needs focus and calm..

Pay some respect ftw as SG has done it all...

If i where a player at LFC my prime goal would be to give SG a PL title before he stops...

YNWA means respect and support ...

ps. I think you are disrespectfull

  56. Has no one actually thought that Fulham were never going to sell Dempsey to Liverpool anyway after they felt hard done by when they complained about the approach taken by Liverpool?! Liverpool upset Fulham so why would Fulham want to sell Dempsey?! Then spurs come in with a cheeky offer and get him. I'm not sure they need him but hey!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Give me a bucket will ya...and spare the rest of your Liverpool loyalist little diatribe....

Patronizing and utterly arrogant. This is a forum ffs not a live match where supporting the team matters....

Jeez, you do get em on here, how about trying to debate the points instead of extolling the virtues of the Club and how to support....

You want to support the team, go support them...if you want to discuss whats going on at the club then quit preaching to others and get with the debate....

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think LFC fans already know how awful we are without you ranting on. I have been around a lot longer than your 30 something yrs & saw LFC at their best & now supporting them at their worst. I will continue to do so. Maybe someday Spurs will actually have a history worth talking about.. though I doubt it. So enjoy your 'moment' & I will keep 'wistfully' dwelling on the 80's. Oh & 70's as well just to rub it in!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Despite all the setbacks recently, LFC could just be content with just 2 proven strikers. But in my opinion, we could get Fowler or Rush to train the strikers, make them more clinical in front of the goal. We have a lot of young attackers, time to utilize and give then much needed exposure.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Que...??? I don't understand, you see i am from Barcelona...

  65. Its funny how people on here actually talk about how they "know" what happened RE: the dempsey situation. truth is we dont know and will never know the truth, was it an extra 1 mil? were fulham asking for an extra because they were annoyed at our actions?

Truth is LFC is a great club going thorugh a tough time (yes for the last 20 years) but every dog has his day and eventually with a sustainable model we will be back up there with the best. its not about this season, it may not even be about the next season, its a 3 -5 year plan and the sooner us "real" LFC fans reliase that the better we will be.

yes we need a striker, yes we need depth, but even if we bought dempsey and he failed, we would be critising the owners or BR for bringing in a 30 yr old dud.

its early days and a week is a long time in football, so who knows what will happen or where we will be after 35 weeks. let just enjoy the journey and what will be, will be.

Lets just make sure we support through the bad times coz eventually there will be good times, hopefully great! YNWA

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well said - and for 5 long term plans to work, all the 'real' fans need to get off the owners' and manager's backs and support them. Yes they will make mistakes, but so does everyone else, including the Wengers and Red Noses of this world.

    ReplyDelete
  67. All the results seem to suggest that both clubs will do badly this year. Already Spurs are doing a Chelsea under AVB and Liverpool certainly are not doing anything great under Rodgers. I wonder if either manager realises that what worked at one club will not work at another. It all depends on the type and quality of player you have. Can you see Mancini, or Ferguson winning the PL with last seasons Wolves squad? No amount of tactics can turn an average club into world beaters, but they sure as hell can turn world beaters into an average club.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Liverpool's owners screwed up big time on the deal. Hopefully we will see some of the Liverpool youngsters develop into the 1st team. At the moment, we are definitely not a top 6 team.

In my opinion, Harry did a great job at Spurs and it was sad to see him sacked. I still think that Spurs made a mistake in sacking him and appointing AVB. AVB might have a tough time in the coming months.

    ReplyDelete
  69. watever fans said here no matter bcoz dempsey gonna break LFC fans heart by scoring around 15-20 goals while liverpool finding difficulties to hit back of the net..he was the player that could have brought solution to our goal scoring drought but useless, ridiculous FSG's business policy let us down surely..they gonna destroy our legendery football club for purpose business..really worried about transfers we did on strikers.

    ReplyDelete
  70. we needed cover at left back, we are told downing is the answer, he he he he, smell the Coffee guys, FSG extended the contracts of our prize players(assets they will refer to them as), but dont wanna spend Zilch, the rape has begun, mark my words.

  77. Well he is never going to say "Liverpool would have been better is he".

    ReplyDelete
  78. Look, this "blossoming youth" of ours will be sold on once they're established.
Joe Allen won't see his contract out at Anfield. If he carries on the way he's started, he will be at Spurs, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd or pastures foreign by 2015, having made the club a profit. Sterling will be the same. They will want medals and they will want competitive wages.
Arsenal already have this problem and they are managing to qualify for the CL every year, so what makes you think we have a better chance of hanging on to them?
Forget our history, the rest of the footballing world has. Liverpool FC does not hold the draw that it did ten years ago - ask Sigurdson (who?) and Dempsey. If they WANTED to play for us, they'd have signed weeks ago.
Why does Reina look so miserable? Because another window has closed and his agent couldn't find anyone who wants him.
What everyone needs to realise, including the owners if they're serious, is that first you have to be up there and then you can put your pie in the sky ideas into action. Players have short careers and they want to win trophies, not battle against relegation. The only reason Suarez is still here is that no-one put a bid in. Come January, if we're still down the bottom, I can see him wanting out and 'doing a Tevez' if he doesn't get his way.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Dempsey had A great season last year which was alot better than any of his other seasons in the Premier League. Season before last he only scored 13 in 42 games for Fulham, hardly the prolific striker he is being made out to be. Give Adam Morgan 42 starts and he will score at least 13 goals.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hate to burst your bubble, but we've been in that '3-5 year plan' for two years now and we've gone round in circles.
Go on, tell me about the finances... I remember after the ink had dried on the takeover that John W Henry, in a live TV interview, was asked about whether FSG could load some debt onto the club and he refused to rule it out, not refused to comment, refused to rule it out, so don't think this policy couldn't see us back in massive debt again.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Wenger has never failed to finish in the top four. 'Red Nose' has won more trophies than pretty much anyone else alive, so he's probably earned a bit of leeway, especially since his team has been competitive in the league every year now since 1992.
OK, SAF has spent a lot of dough, but Wenger hasn't.
What's next? Oh yeah "But, Arsenal haven't won anything in 7 years."
Well, we hadn't won anything in six, but winning something didn't stop everyone calling for Kenny to be sacked... and I don't remember anyone here tolerating Kenny's mistakes, either.

  82. Sterling-Dempsey-Suarez looks better than Sterling-Suarez-Borini.

  83. I think they'll miss Modric too as they haven't brought anyone in that does what he does, i.e., orchestrate the possession from central midfield, hence their push for Moutinho. But I don't think they'll miss VDV, who had a really good initial impact but after injuries, always getting subbed off, etc, he wasn't that great for them and I think Dembele is a really good player, breaks forward and carries the ball well in the last third. The Belgians have got a great bunch of players at the moment.

  84. I think liverpool will be fine this year, they done well last season and were unlucky in a good few games.
Not sure we will come good this season, to much change far to fast, the fans that booed the team were not jeering the result, its the way we playyed. Two holding midfielders at home against Norwich, come on AVB learn and develope or your finished.

  85. KK the II's transfer activity has put that so-called 'plan' back a fair bit and me thinks, has had a big knock-on effect on the club's buying power in the transfer window just gone.

  86. He wasn't playing as a regular centre forward in those previous seasons.

  87. If Moutinho deal had gone through Fulham would've been forced to accept our derisory offer

  88. Dempsey doesn't reference Liverpool at all.

If FFP doesn't come to fruition effectively, FSG will sell up to a other group of investors. They will be hailed as saviours for another few years, then we will turn on them when prompted to do so by a supporters group.

Money talks in football, is that not obvious to everyone?

Rafa never had a hope, compare the lump sum of cash Mourinho had at Chelsea v Liverpool. Mourinho would just be another failed manager if we had got him in 2005, not the special one.

BR needs a perfect storm to succeed at Liverpool. We need to be injury free, hope players gel quickly, hope that young players develop miraculously quickly and we need some investment in January.

As much as I admire Suarez as a player, he is not clinical.

Scoring goals is how to win games, and what better way to do it than with a clinical striker.

If Morgan plays, let's stick him up front at least. Give him the chance to come good.

If Suso resolves his contract situation he could be involved also.

Why did we let Tom Ince go? Who sanctioned that one?

  96. Ha ha very funny. In all seriousness though, not a Liverpool fan, but i am in a way. Being a United supporter i think we've taken the old philosophy and model of success at Liverpool and made it great. I think Liverpool will be great again. I think youve a good manager, not sure yet about the owners. they have invested heavily and had their fingers badly burned. Give it time. The only reason Liverpool seem like the laughing stock is because of their status as a massive team. Expectations are huge. Give it time. Liverpool will be mighty again. At least i hope they will be for footballs sake. MUFC!

  97. The author wrote about a player who joined Spurs over Liverpool, and took a pop at how Spurs were a step down... Joke or not - What did you expect?

  98. Oh yeah, i forgot, we've got Brendan Rodgers now...maybe he does...? Lol.

  99. Little wobble? Decline in league positions over a number of years is not a little wobble... It's a danger. What would happen if you're not challenging near the top anymore? Rely on history? The last time Liverpool did they ended up 8th behind Everton. #King

  101. Net spend for the past two seasons:
Spurs: -£32,500,000 (note the minus sign)
    Liverpool: £56,650,000

    Thank you and good night.

Regardless of how many points Spurs have gained in the first 3 matches, they still have more than Liverpool.

  103. I didn't specify that I was in anyway annoyed, yet you naturally assume so... I was merely stating the reason why Spurs supporters were visiting this blog. I wonder who actually is bitter about the whole ordeal, hmmm...

  104. What happened to 'If I don't play for Liverpool, I'll retire'! Forget Dempsey and let's move on. We have to worry about, why we have stingy owners and if they've and the next couple of games.

  105. Before you get involved on someone else's belhaf ,read my response and use what ever brain you have left....there is no gunfight ,but supporters do support and keep faith ,unless they are fans like yourself. Spurs are great club and it was never my intention to run them down ,but I will fight for my club with stones if I have to .

  106. Sorry mate ,but what you should be doing is apologizing for being a rasist ,instead you give me imaginary figures sourced from sun ,mirror? Or you are privy to undisclosed transfer amounts? Don't bother responding because rasists of all kind make me sick . Also, you must be really bored stiff ,otherwise why bother going on other clubs sites and spout your venom - pathetic

    ReplyDelete
  107. Sorry love ,but silly comments like yours on our clubs site tells me that you must either be very dim or very bored and nasty. Neither are qualities I look for in friends or opponents.,so don't bother responding silly lass . From the soft lad
