KENNY DALGLISH confirms: 'We're interested in signing him'

In a rare moment of transfer speculation honesty, Kenny Dalglish has gone on the record and confirmed one of Liverpool FC's transfer targets.

Over the last few days, Liverpool have been strongly linked with a January move for Cliftonville striker Rory Donnelly, and in his press conference earlier, Dalglish confirmed that the club is interested:

"I spoke to the chairman. It was nice of him to tell everybody!

"There's been a bit of interest in the boy. We've registered our interest, which is as far as it goes at the moment".

  2. The first true comfirmed transfer target of this coming transfer window!
Young,British and potential that falls into the categories Liverpool have been looking at for the last few seasons with the Sterling and Shelvey signings.

  3. Cunning chairman of Cliftonville wants to start a bid war between many clubs to make the most of the young striker. That's why he is going around to media and make the news public.

  6. Let Kenny carrying on as he is going. He is slowing digging his own grave with this very shallow attitude.

  7. Slowly digging his own grave, is this the same grave that has us just 3 points off 4th spot and playing really well. Seriously, some people actually know nothing about football, or maybe they just haven't watched a single game of ours this season because if you had you would know that Kenny has made vast improvements and the team is on the up. But hey, wouldn't it be much better to just sack him and start all over again with someone who knows nothing about LFC and how we work as a club..

  8. Some people...Victor and Bomber why don't you get back to playing Fantasy Football and start supporting Man City...you aren't fit to call yourselves LFC supporters. If you can't belive in KK you can't believe!

  10. Why not a take a chance on the lad he isn't going to cost much and buy a proven forward aswell then everything is all good if the lads poor no great loss and if he's great then what a buy what's the problem it's not like we're going to spend millions on him

  11. How can Kenny still have doubters?some of you so called fans are a joke.
What Kenny has done since he's come in is just amazing,If we could just stop hitting that bleeding woodwork imagine where we would be.
This is very much a transition season and I think the lads are linking up very well,we have been very unlucky and by our performances we deserve to be still chasing the title.
Keep it up Kenny us real fans can see the bright future ahead with your leadership.
