VIDEO: Liverpool's Luis Suarez as you've never seen him before...

Liverpool fans are used to seeing Luis Suarez on the pitch scoring goals, but away from Anfield, he's a family man, and in this video, you can see a different side to the Uruguayan striker.

The video features Suarez at home in Liverpool with his family, and provides a little insight into what he's like away from football.

It also features Dirk Kuyt in a small but pivotal cameo role.

  1. Is it me or does the presenter look a bit like Dr Robotnik from Sonic the Hedgehog?

  2. one of my coworkers who's uruguayan has watched suarez in uruguayan interviews and came away with the impression that he wasn't very educated. however, i think his comfort with the dutch language speaks otherwise.

i am glad to see that this does not appear to be true and that he seems to be enjoying his life in liverpool!

  4.  I am Uruguayan, and even though he's not that well educated (I seem to remember that he said in an interview that he stopped studying at the age 14 or 15), the guy is not stupid, he's a very clever lad. Probably my compatriot is confused by he's accent in Spanish, he speaks in a Uruguayan accent, but he doesn't sound like a guy  from the Capital, Montevideo... He's from Salto and for many people in Uruguay, if you're not from the Capital,  you may sound like a peasant...

  6. No, I said we shouldn't sign him because he's a cheat. It had nothing to do with his ability, but you knew that already. If you deliberately misrepresent my views again for the purposes of sniping then you will be permanently banned.

  8. Your definition of cheating would turn football into a non contact sport

  9. He didnt cheat, even Gyan and Muntari said they would have done the same given the circumstances. Maradona, Henry, the English ref that had the Brasil V Portugal game in the 66 world cup all cheated. Cant we just get over this FFS. Anyway suarez is what we call a "canario". An term those city folk call people from the country. Suarez has fought hard to get where he is and he appreciates every moment. Hes not perfect but who is??

  10. Nonsense. I have no problem with crunching tackles; I have a problem with deliberate handball on the line; deliberate diving, and nplayacting, none of which have anything to do with the contact side of the sport.
