In his weekly press conference a few minutes ago, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was extremely positive about his team, and despite the recent setback at Stoke, he made it clear that confidence is high, and good times are ahead for the club.
Dalglish said:
"There’s been a lot of things that have been very pleasing for everyone, players supporters and staff.
"They’ve [the players] have been good all week, and they’ll enter this Sunday’s game in the right frame of mind
If we stick together, we’re going to be a formidable unit".
Dalglish also reiterated that Liverpool had received no preferential treatment from referee's chief Mike Riley:
"It’s not as if we’ve got any preferential treatment. Mike riley was coming here anyway. Mike is very approachable and visits every club. We’ll continue treating refs with respect and dignity".
