Injury Boost: 'Incredible' £160k-a-month Liverpool star confirms he's 'ready' for Spurs. Anfield Exit soon?

After a brief injury layoff, Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has declared himself fit for Saturday's enticing Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking to LFC.com today, Moreno confirmed:

"Everything went well [with the injury recovery] and I haven’t felt anything else. I hope to be ready for the next game against Tottenham".

It's a timely boost for Liverpool, but with Clyne, Flanagan, Smith, and Randall in the squad, plus Klopp seemingly willing to play James Milner as a defender, the Reds are well covered in the full-back position.

In the short-term, Moreno* - who, according to ex-Red Neil Mellor, has 'incredible energy' - may be back in contention, but his long-term future appears to up in the air.

Multiple reports this month claim that Jurgen Klopp is planning to replace the Spaniard, with the Daily Express recently claiming:

"Liverpool are targeting [Schalke] left-back Sead Kolasinac as a replacement for Alberto Moreno".

The Daily Mail has further claimed:

"Liverpool keen to add a more proficient defender than Alberto Moreno [and] will rival Arsenal for Lorient left-back Raphael Guerreiro".

* Reportedly on £40k-a-week.
