'Extraordinary': Klopp raves over 'miracle' €50m attacker who wants Liverpool transfer. Replace Lallana?

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Bayern Munich 'miracle boy' Mario Gotze, and after months of rumour-mongering, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has finally responded to the speculation.

On Tuesday, Sky Sports claimed:

"Liverpool are interested in making a summer move for Mario Gotze, Sky sources understand".

The Liverpool Echo further added:

"Liverpool are increasingly confident they can snap up Gotze [who] is keen to link up with with his old boss".

When asked last night about Liverpool's alleged interest in €50m-rated Gotze, Klopp hailed the 23-year old as an 'extraordinary' player, but refused to offer any further details about an potential transfer to Anfield:

"We can talk about Matip, but not Mario/ He put in a good performance yesterday [for Germany], but there is nothing to add. He wants to return to full fitness after four months on the sidelines."

This is not a denial, it's simply a refusal to discuss anything transfer-related, which is par for the course when it comes to Klopp and potential Liverpool deals.

What's clear is that he still thinks very highly of Gotze, and that may bode well for the summer transfer season.
