Rafa Benitez has revealed the five players from his time at Liverpool that he would have in an LFC 5-a-side team. And, as is often the case with Rafa's team selections, you may be surprised at who is omitted from the starting line-up.
When Benitez was the manager, members of Liverpool's official membership scheme received, amongst other things, an exclusive 'The Real Rafa Benitez' DVD, and it is on this DVD that Rafa makes his selections. He chose:

------------ Steven Gerrard
----------- Yossi Benayoun
No room for Fernando Torres or Jamie Carragher? Carra I can understand, but surely you would want Torres in your 5-a-side team?
Yossi Benayoun may have been in and out of the 11-a-side team but it looks like he would be a certain starter if the Premiership had changed to 5-a-side during Benitez's tenure ;-)

Oh dear Jaimie. Agger! You are funny. I'm amazed at how many people actually rate this guy - I wonder if people actually pay attention to what he does in a game or if they just remember a couple of goals he scored in years gone by.

5 a side football requires very nimble quick players.Torres would need to find space to be at his most effective and you cannot find space and make a run in 5 a side as the space is limited.Rafa is only pointing out these 5 players would be perfect for 5 a side football and are not the best 5 players he ever brought to the club.Aurelio when fit is very agile and quick same as Benayoun.

Carragher would be awful at 5 a side, pass backs and overhead height for hoofing the ball, he'd just give away freekicks.

I definitely agree with Rafas selection on this one.You need short passing players who are very good technically.How can Alonso be in it when his strength was spraying 40 yard passes around.On this one im in complete agreement with Rafa.
