Klopp to Sign? 'Extraordinary' Real Madrid sensation reacts to monster €50m Liverpool offer

One of Liverpool's current transfer targets is reportedly ready to quit Real Madrid this summer.

Last week, a report on Spanish Radio Station Cadena Cope claimed that Liverpool recently submitted a €50m offer for Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio, and according to Spanish newspaper Don Balon today:

* Asensio has told Madrid that he'll leave unless his contract is improved.

* The Spaniard wants parity with the offers submitted by Arsenal, Liverpool, and Juventus.

Some info about Asensio:

* 21-year old left-winger, who can also play RW and AM. Contract expires: 2022

* Espanyol: 19 goals/assists in 37 apps (One every 160 mins)

* Real Madrid: 12 goals/assists in 29 apps (One every 130 mins)

* Spain: 18 goals/assists in 26 apps for U21s/U19s. 2 apps for senior national team.

* Scored for Madrid on his La Liga debut, his Champions League debut, and his Copa Del Rey debut.

* Dec 2016: Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane told Marca: "Asensio has the best left foot since Lionel Messi".

* Apr 2017: Real legend Emilio Butragueño told Sport: "Marco Asensio is technically gifted, fast and powerful. He was extraordinary today. He has the confidence of Zidane."

Clearly, Asensio is employing the age old strategy of using interest from other clubs to line his pockets, and given his potential, Madrid will probably acquiesce. Either way, I can't see Liverpool ever being in the running to seal this particular deal.
