Liverpool face Bournemouth at Anfield tonight, and ahead of the game, here is the confirmed team news.
* Jurgen Klopp on Mane: "It's not very positive. We have to wait. The only thing I can say for sure is that he will not be available for tomorrow".
* When asked if Mane's injury is potentially 'season ending', Klopp confirmed: 'Yes, it's possible'.
* Klopp on Sturridge: "Daniel [Sturridge] is back in team training, and in a good way. It's a very good option to have him back, and he'll probably be in the squad".
* Klopp also confirmed that Lallana and Henderson are 'not available'.
* Emre Can missed training on Monday, which suggests he's carrying a knock of some kind.
* On Monday, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe confirmed: "Andrew Surman will definitely be out. That is a big blow for us. He has been as consistent as ever this season" .
* Callum Wilson also remains out with an ACL injury.
The incentive for victory tonight is massive. A win will put Liverpool eight points ahead of Man United, and even with two games in hand, I can't see Mourinho's team making up that gap.
Even with injuries, Liverpool have a strong enough team to beat 14th-placed Bournemouth, but that's what fans thought in December, and the Reds ending up losing 4-3. Probable lineup:
--------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Matip -- Lovren ---- Milner
----- Can ----- Lucas --- Wijnaldum
----- Arnold - Origi --- Coutinho
* Origi deserves to start after scoring at the weekend (Plus two assists in recent games against Arsenal and Burnley)
* Liverpool's bench is weak at the moment, so give Firmino a rest. Being able to rest players during an injury crisis is a luxury, so Klopp should take advantage of it.
* Lucas had a great game against Everton, and deserves to keep his place.
* I have a feeling the Klopp will play Arnold on the right in Mane's absence. He played there against Everton, and did well, so it makes sense to play him there again.
* The other alternative is to play Milner on the tight, and have Arnold and Clyne as full-backs.
