Confirmed Team News [LFC/Everton]: 6 players out; 'No chance' for £30m star; Klopp confirms starts for Coutinho and Firmino

The turgid international break is finally over, and it's back to the Premier League with a blockbuster game to kick things off again. Ahead of Saturday's match, here is the confirmed team news.

* Lallana is out of the game, and according to Independent: "Adam Lallana has been ruled out for four weeks with a thigh injury."

* Klopp on Sturridge: "He is not back to training. He’s in a good way, but he has no chance for the weekend.”

* Klopp on Hendo: "Jordan had a little setback, so he’s not in team training until now. I can’t say how long, but hopefully not too long”.

* Klopp on Coutinho and Firmino: "They’re okay for this weekend. How fresh, we will see on Saturday".

* In his pre-match press conference, Ronald Koeman confirmed that Schneiderlin will miss the match.

* Coleman and Funes Mori are also out after suffering injuries while away on international duty.

Liverpool may be ravaged by injury in key positions, but the Reds' record against Everton is stellar:

* Only 3 defeats in the last 23 games (all competitions)

* Liverpool haven't lost to Everton at Anfield since 1999.

* Last 10 games: 4 wins, 6 draws. 18 goals scored, 8 against. 5 clean sheets.

My preferred lineup:

----------------- Mignolet
Arnold ------ Lovren -- Matip ----- Clyne
----- Milner ------ Can --- Wijnaldum
-------- Mane -- Firmino -- Coutinho

^ Sturridge: £30m-rated. .
