Anfield MegaDeal: Redknapp urges Klopp to sign 'brilliant' 40m star who wants Liverpool transfer

It seems everyone and their dog wants Liverpool to sign one of Manchester City's unwanted players this summer.

In recent months, Jamie Carragher, Stan Collymore, and Jamie Redknapp have all publicly urged Jurgen Klopp to splash the cash on Hart, and Harry Redknapp also believes that Hart is the solution to Liverpool's goalkeeping issues.

Speaking to Betsafe today, Redknapp insisted:

"They [Mignolet and Karius] are decent goalkeepers but they're not top, top keepers and that's what Liverpool need. Joe Hart would be a perfect if they can get him."

This follows Newcastle legend Mickey Quinn's midweek claim: that Hart is a target for Liverpool:

"What I know is that Simon Mignolet could be on his with, and Joe Hart could be coming in".

Last month, Italian newspaper TuttoSport claimed that liverpool held talks with Man City about the possibility of signing Hart this summer, with Sky Sports further claiming:

"Joe Hart is keen on a return to the Premier League, and has told friends he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool"

As argued several times before, I'm totally against this transfer, but it's starting to feel like there's an unseen force inexorably pushing Hart towards Anfield *shudder*

* Hart: Described by Gareth Southgate as 'brilliant'. £40m-rated .
