Confirmed Team News: €34m Liverpool star 'can't play; 'Brilliant' attacker 'fine' to start; Klopp confirms Mane 'possible'

In the words of Steven Gerrard: It's 'crash helmet time'. Liverpool face Chelsea tonight, and ahead of the game, here is the confirmed team news.

Klopp's pre-match updates:

* On Clyne: "It's difficult [with Clyne] - we would love to force it but we can't. If there's a risk to make it worse then we cannot take the risk."

* On Ejaria: "He got a knock [against Wolves]. Now he's obviously out for a while. [The syndesmosis] is a ligament between the shin bone and the [ankle]. It's really painful."

* On Lallana: "Lallana trained. Adam is fine for selection".

* On Mane: "I spoke to him [Mane] and it is all good so far. We have to make a decision. We have to look in his eyes and see whatever is possible."

Unfortunately, in his pre-match press conference, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte confirmed that he has a fully-fit squad available, which means he'll be able select his strongest possible team for tonight's game.

Liverpool haven't lost four home games in a row since the 1923-24 season, so the pressure is on for Klopp to arrest the current slide, lest he be saddled with this most unflattering of achievements. My preferred lineup:

-------------- Mignolet
Milner ---- Lovren - Matip ---- Moreno
----- Lallana -- Hendo -- Wijnaldum
------ Mane --- Firmino - Coutinho

* Clyne: €34m-rated. Lallana: Hailed as 'brilliant' by Alan Shearer
