Decision Made: Boss admits Klopp wants 'unbelievable' £30m sensation; confirms Liverpool 'offer' would be futile

Liverpool have been told to forget about signing one of the Bundesliga's most coveted young attackers.

Last week, The Independent claimed:

"Liverpool are set to step up their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic now that Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out for up to six weeks".

When asked this week about Liverpool's interest in Pulisic, Dortmund director of sport, Michael Zorc, made his decision on the issue crystal clear:

"We have made it quite clear that we are not going to sell Christian and that we are planning with him. Liverpool can save the effort of making an offer."

Zorc has consistently dismissed the possibility of selling 'unbelievable' Pulisic:

* Sep 2016: Zorc told ESPN: "He [Pulisic] has just turned 18. He debuted at just 17 in the Champions League. The correct assessment is to stay for further career development".

* Oct 2016: He insisted: “We did not educate him [Pulisic] to sell him. We have a long-running contract until 2019, and the club is ready to prolong his contract.”

Irrespective of Zorc's comments, I just don't see any compelling reason for £30m-rated Pulisic to leave a well-run club like Dortmund at such a young age. What can Liverpool offer him that Dortmund can't?
