As expected, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made significant changes for tonight's LEague Cup quarter-final with Leeds United.
FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Klavan, Lucas, Moreno, Stewart, Wijnaldum, Can, Ejaria, Mane, Origi.
SUBS: Karius, Lovren, Clyne, Henderson, Milner, Woodburn, Grujic.
LEEDS: Silvestri, Berardi, Bartley, Cooper, Taylor, Vieira, O'Kane, Sacko, Roofe, Dallas, Doukara
* In total, Klopp has made eight changes, with Mane, Origi, and Can the only players from Saturday's team to retain their places.
* Ben Woodburn makes the bench yet again, and if the game goes well for Liverpool, he'll surely get some game time.
* Once again, Marko Grujic is ignored for a starting berth, which is curious considering the fact Ovie Ejaria (younger and much less experienced) is deemed ready to play.
* €14m-rated Grujic - who Klopp claims is a 'wonderful' player - should be startvg games like this, and almost five months into the season, it's concerning that the manager is seemingly unwilling to trust him against lower league opposition.
Even with all the injuries and changes, Liverpool (on paper) should have more than enough quality to put Leeds to the sword.
* Origi: Described as 'exceptional' by Owen Hargreaves .
