Transfer Update: Journo urges 'absolutely spectacular' £20m star to find 'solution with Liverpool'

After his recent troubles at Liverpool, beleaguered Reds defender Mamadou Sakho is currently linked with a surprise return to PSG, but according to one prominent journalist, a deal is unlikely to happen.

Earlier this week, French newspaper Le 10 Sport suggested that PSG may be interested in re-signing Sakho, but according to Le Parisien journo Bertrand Metayer:

"I do not think PSG will sign Sakho this winter. Mamadou needs to find a solution with Liverpool to avoid having a wasted year".

Last season, Jurgen Klopp hailed Sakho as an 'absolutely spectacular' player, but now, the French defender is playing his trade for the club's U23 team. How the mighty have fallen.

Sakho's recent Snapchat outburst put him in hot water with Jurgen Klopp, but according to Liverpool's boss, the matter appears to be resolved:

"I spoke to the team and I spoke to Mama and we spoke together and that’s it. From my side everything is done".

In my view, massive injury crisis aside, there's no way back for £20m-rated Sakho, especially with Matip, Lovren, and Klavan in the squad.

Additionally, Liverpool are constantly linked with new central defenders, and if these rumours are true, then it looks like Klopp is actively searching for Sakho's replacement.
