Liverpool youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold made a positive impression on the Reds' pre-season tour of the USA, and one member of Jurgen Klopp's senior squad is increasingly impressed with his progress.
In a recent interview with Goal, fellow right-back Nathaniel Clyne enthused:
"There’s a lot of good, young players out there. I see some of their games and they are doing really well. Trent Alexander-Arnold is another one who impresses".
Clyne isn't the only one who's impressed. Last month, U23s boss Michael Beale raved:
“He [AA] is young and playing ever so well. Speed, aggression, strength; he has it all. The confidence of training with the first team - you can see it in the development he has made".
Jurgen Klopp also seems to rate the youngster, and When asked recently about his progress, Klopp enthused:
"Trent is a real Scouser, right? If there’s a player who is a Scouser and can play football then we should go for him 100%.”
Alexander-Arnold's description on the official LFC website:
"A creative central midfield player with a great engine and an eye for a pass, Trent is the one that makes the team tick. He can also play at right-back".
In a recent interview, Alexander-Arnold insisted that he's happy to' play wherever the manager wants me to play'. A possible future first-teamer, or will Alexander-Arnold go the same way as Rossiter, Sinclair, and Canos?
