Anfield MegaDeal? Boss confirms he'll sell 'incredible' £77m Klopp target who'd consider 'Liverpool offer'

Dortmund Chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that BVB are willing to sell recent Liverpool target Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

When asked this week about Aubameyang's future, Watzke conceded:

"We'll 'talk [about a transfer away] but it won't be easy. We want him to stay with us. Unlike the players who left us in recent times, Aubameyang has a long-term contract."

Back in February, Watzke made a similar statement about Aubameyang's future:

“If an offer comes [for Aubemeyang], then we need to discuss it. If it should go into the hundreds of millions, then we need to talk to the player".

LFC transfer timeline (Most recent):

* Oct 2015: A Dortmund 'source' claimed that Aubemeyang would consider an 'offer to join Liverpool'.

* Jan 2016: Don Balon: claimed that Liverpool were considering a 'dizzying offer' for Aubameyang.

* Apr 2016: When asked about the Reds, Aubameyang enthused: “Liverpool have something special...and they can win the Europa League for sure.”

* Apr 2016: Aubemeyang - hailed by Jurgen Klopp as an incredible player - confirmed: “It [moving to the Prem] would be very good, very nice. We will see. I watch the Premier League for sure. There’s so much space – and I love space because then I can run!"

Alas, Watzke recently claimed that Aubemeyang will cost €100m [£77m], which is prohibitive. Plus, with the famously frugal Klopp at the helm, spending €100m on a single player seems unlikely, but if Aubemeyang is willing to sign for Liverpool, is he worth that kind of money?
