Anfield MegaDeal? 'Incredible' striker who called Liverpool 'special' can leave for €80m. Replace Sturridge?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to sell star striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Last week, BVB Chief Hans-Joachim Watzke conceded that the club 'will' discuss a possible transfer, and according to Sky Sports today:

"Borussia Dortmund have slapped an €80m price-tag on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and are unwilling to sell the Gabon forward for less than that".

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool have been repeatedly linked with Aubameyang during Jurgen Klopp's reign. LFC transfer timeline (Most recent):

* Oct 2015: A Dortmund 'source' claimed that Aubemeyang would consider an 'offer to join Liverpool'.

* Jan 2016: Don Balon: claimed that Liverpool were considering a 'dizzying offer' for Aubameyang.

* Apr 2016: When asked about the Reds, Aubameyang enthused: “Liverpool have something special...and they can win the Europa League for sure.”

* Apr 2016: Aubemeyang - hailed by Jurgen Klopp as an incredible player - confirmed: “It [moving to the Prem] would be very nice. There’s so much space – and I love space because then I can run!"

Despite their past working relationship, it seems unlikely that Klopp will spend €80m on a single player, but if Aubemeyang is willing to sign for Liverpool, is he worth that kind of money?

I'm a huge fan of Daniel Sturridge, but if he has to be replaced (which seems inevitable under Klopp), then Aubameyang is clearly an ideal replacement.
