Sell Him: 49% of Liverpool fans want Klopp to dump 'brilliant' £20m attacker this summer (Site Poll)

Adam Lallana to Spurs? The goal-shy Liverpool attacker is currently linked with a £20m summer move to White Hart Lane, and in my view, it's an absolute no-brainer. What do other Liverpool fans think, though?

Lallana's Liverpool stats:

* Overall: 13 goals/12 assists in 89 games (Goal every 489 mins. Assist every 538 mins. G/A every 254 mins).

* League: 9 goals in 57 games (One every 433 mins). Never scored more than 5 league goals in a single season.

* Europe: Only 3 goals/1 assist in 18 games (One every 317 mins).

* Took almost 6 months to register a league goal this season (January 23rd vs. Norwich).

* After a brief flurry of goals/assists (2 goals/3 assists in 9 games), he's back to his usual self, with 2 goals/0 assists in the last ten games.

Last week, I conducted a site poll asking fans whether Liverpool should sell Lallana. The results:

I may be one of his most vociferous critics, but I voted to keep Lallana as a squad player. His stats are fine for a back-up player, and that's exactly what he needs to become at Liverpool.

For me, the idea of the Lallana being an everpresent next season is, quite frankly, chilling. Liverpool can (and must) do better in his position, and if Klopp makes the same mistake as Rodgers, and relies on Lallana to regularly score/create goals, it'll be his funeral (and Liverpool's).

In my view, Liverpool have no chance of winning the title (and/or regularly finishing in the top four) with players like Lallana, Mignolet, Origi, Allen etc as first-team regulars. The last two years proves that, and if any of those players are regulars again next season, history will inevitably repeat itself.

Don't get me wrong: Lallana, Origi et al are good players, but they're not of the consistent standard required to push Liverpool to the next level. 8th place in the league? That's what happens when players like Lallana and Mignolet are regulars.
