Liverpool MegaDeal: Klopp keen to sign 'amazing' €30m attacker this summer. Replace Lallana?

Last week, Jurgen Klopp admitted that Liverpool are 'short on wingers', and fixing that is surely a transfer priority this summer. The Reds have been linked with many wide players over the last few months, and latest player to enter LFC's transfer radar is Milan attacker Giacomo Bonaventura.

According to Italian newspaper Tutto Sport:

"Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing Giacomo Bonaventura, and a great offer of more than 30 million Euros could persuade Milan CEO Adriano Galliani to sell".

Some info about Bonaventura:

* 26-year old left-winger, who can also play as a number-10. Current contract expires: 2019.

* Agent = Mino Raiola, who also manages Mario Balotelli.

* 14 goals/13 assists (27) in 65 games for Milan (Goal every 379 mins. Goal/assist every 196 mins).

* This season: 16 goals/assists in 31 games (One every 165 mins)

* Missed only ten games through injury since 2013.

* Nov 2015: ESPN Scouting Report snippet: "Best form this season is out left in the 4-3-3 system. This suits Bonaventura perfectly, as his tireless defensive effort and sacrifice for the team is married with ensuring that he enjoys plenty of possession in the attacking third where he invariably makes a difference".

* Mar 2016: Milan Owner Silvio Berlusconi's assessment: "Bonaventura...is an amazing dribbler, but he could also do a great job as a director in midfield. This could be an interesting solution in the future".

One goal every 379 minutes is *not* worth €30m, and if Liverpool are going to spend that kind of money, it should be on an attacking midfielder who is more prolific than one goal every four games.

The club already has too many attackers with similar stats, and in terms of prolificity, any attacking player signed this summer has to be a significant upgrade on the likes of Lallana, Ibe, Markovic et al.
