Confirmed Liverpool Team: 'Spectacular' star returns; Brazilian maestro out; Surprise as Klopp ignores attacker

After Wednesday's 3-0 humbling of Manchester City, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to the team for today's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

LFC TEAM: Mignolet, Flanagan, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Milner, Lallana, Firmino, Origi.

SUBS: Ward, Toure, Clyne, Allen, Coutinho, Sturridge, Benteke.

PALACE: Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Zaha, Jedinak (c), Cabaye, Ledley, Bolasie; Adebayor.

* Sakho comes back into the team at the expense of Kolo Toure. That's harsh on the Ivorian, who delivered an immense performance against City, but two games in three days is probably too much for Toure to handle.

* The allegedly 'spectacular' Sakho usually has a 'mare whenever he returns from injury, but give his concussion issue was not a real injury per se, that hopefully won't happen this time.

* Origi keeps his place ahead of Daniel Sturridge, which is a big vote of confidence in the Belgian striker, though I personally would've brought Sturridge back into the fold.

* Coutinho also remains on the bench, but Milner, Lallana, and Firmino all grabbed a goal and an assist each against City, so it'd be unfair to change things.

* Moreno is recalled at the expense of Nathaniel Clyne, who has played more minutes this season than any other player. He's probably being rested.

Probable formation

---------------- Mignolet
Flanagan -- Lovren --- Sakho --- Moreno
------- Hendo ---- Can --- Milner
---------- Lallana -- Firmino
---------------- Origi
