Photo Proof: 'Outstanding' record-breaking attacker trains with Benteke/Coutinho. Surprise start vs. Stoke?

Last month, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp name-checked Academy striker Jerome Sinclair as a possible addition to the first team, and with the Reds currently experiencing major goalscoring troubles (and injuries to key attacking players), now is (arguably) the ideal time to give Sinclair a chance. Cometh the hour, cometh the man?

When asked in December about Liverpool's striker options, Klopp brushed off suggestions that the team lacks depth up-front. He told reporters:

"It’s not the most difficult situation at this moment with the strikers. We have Christian, Divock, and Roberto. And if they can’t play, we have young lad, for sure, [Jerome] Sinclair from the U21s who can play".

It's great that Klopp seems to be happy with his options, but Origi is now injured, which leaves Christian Benteke as the club's only available senior striker.

As such, it makes sense to bring Sinclair into the squad, and as the following photo show, the 19-year old appears to be in Klopp's plans for Tuesday's League Cup semi-final with Stoke City:

After watching him extensively in the youth setup, Sinclair has good game intelligence, awareness, and finishing, which Jamie Carragher has described as 'outstanding'.

Sinclair - who is Liverpool's youngest ever player (after breaking Jack Robinson's record) - also has a touch of arrogance about his game, which suggests self-confidence, which is what every top striker needs.

Perhaps Klopp will surprise everyone and hand Sinclair his full Liverpool debut tomorrow?

On a related note: Sinclair recently signed-up with Aidy Ward, Raheem Sterling's toxic agent, and in doing so, he's probably signed his own Anfield death warrant.

Ward should be persona-non-grata at Liverpool, but it appears that Sinclair doesn't really care about the way he disrespected the club; why else would he sign Ward as his agent?

In my view, it's clear that Sinclair only cares about himself/his career, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's using Ward to plot a move to...Manchester City.
