After four games without a win, Liverpool bounced back on Boxing Day with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Leicester, but it'll be all for nothing if the Reds can't build on the victory and beat relegation-threatened Sunderland tomorrow.
Klopp's pre-match updates:
On Sturridge: "It’s the same thing Daniel said four weeks ago, and then we let him play. He has to train, we cannot change the situation".
On Milner: "Milner will start pitch sessions, not with the team but outside tomorrow. Then he needs a week and should be available".
On Origi: "We haven't had the scan results yet. If there is no miracle or something like this then he is not available for the next game, so we have to find a solution".
Sunderland's recent record is atrocious:
* Lost the last FOUR games, and conceded 11 goals along the way.
* Lost six of the last eight games overall, though five of those were away fixtures against the likes of Man City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
On paper, a Liverpool victory seems highly probable, but as the recent defeats against Newcastle and Watford show, nothing should be taken for granted this season.
Sam Allardyce has employed a 532 formation (or 352, depending on whether the team is defending/attacking) at Sunderland this season, and if Klopp sticks with 442, it could lead to the Reds being overrun in midfield (a regular problem under Brendan Rodgers).
As such, Klopp may decide to revert to a 4321 formation, which will allow Liverpool to match Sunderland in midfield. With that in mind, my preferred lineup:
--------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Lovren ---- Sakho ----- Moreno
------ Hendo --- Lucas --- Allen
--------- Firmino --- Coutinho
--------------- Benteke
What we'll probably get:
--------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Lovren ---- Sakho ----- Moreno
------ Hendo --- Lucas --- Can
--------- Lallana --- Coutinho
--------------- Benteke

You have until Wednesday 7:45PM (GMT) to make your predictions.
* 20 Points: First goalscorer.
* 20 Points: First Liverpool player to concede a foul.
* 30 Points: Collective loss of possession (LFC)
* 50 Point Triple-Whammy: Perfect score + First goalscorer + first to concede a foul (Possible points total: 120)
* The Leo Getz Mega-Bonus: 100 points for Perfect score + First goalscorer + first to concede a foul + loss of possession (Possible points total: 200)
Good luck!
