In April, a report in the Daily Express claimed that Liverpool were planning a £14m summer offer for on-loan Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, and with the search for a new striker ongoing, it appears that the Reds are still pursuing a deal for the Mexican striker.
According to the Daily Express this week:
* Hernandez remains one of Liverpool's summer transfer targets.
* Sevilla are also in the running to sign the 27-year old striker.
* Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims that Liverpool are favourites to sign Hernandez.
This follows an ESPN report last Sunday, which claimed that Manchester United had 'accepted' a Liverpool offer for Hernandez, though that seems very unlikely given the historical animosity between the two clubs.
Hernandez is seemingly desperate for a move. When asked recently about leaving Madrid and (potentially) Manchester United, he told The Mirror:
“I want to join a team where I can play and get minutes. If I can do that at Manchester United or another club, I’ll be happy. First-team football is my priority over anything else.”
Man United affiliation aside, Hernandez could be a decent signing, for the following reasons:
* 79 goals/assists in 154 appearances for Man Utd (1 every 1.9 games), which is very good.
* Hernandez's record at Madrid is also impressive, and he's once again averaging a a goal or an assist every 1.9 games (15 goals/assists in 29 apps).
* Rarely injured, which is (or should be) a priority selection criterion for Liverpool when considering a new striker.
* Proven in the Premier League, so settling-in shouldn't be a problem.
* Experience in two of Europe's best leagues.
* Champions League experience with Man Utd and Madrid.
* Still only 27, which means he's coming into the prime of his career.
* Hernandez is significantly cheaper than Benteke, and much more experienced (especially in Europe).
As his stats show, Hernandez is clearly a massive upgrade on Lambortelli; the Mexican basically guarantees a certain level of goals and assists, and the fact he's maintained his creative average in two separate leagues is a good indicator of probable success.
According to Spurs legend Glen Hoddle, Hernandez is the perfect signing for Liverpool. In a recent column for Zap Sportz, Hoddle urged Liverpool to sign the 26-year old. He explained:
“It would make sense for Liverpool to go for Hernandez. He is not going to be starter for Real. [Against Juve], he played a little deeper, put in a couple of dangerous crosses, and looked sharp and eager.”
Real Madrid legend Emilio Butragueno is also a fan of Hernandez, and in a recent interview, he highlighted the striker's main qualities.
"[Hernandez] is an incredible player, and a fighter. Javier trains well and is a great professional, but the competition for places is very tough. He is a great forward, when he has played he has responded".
As Luis Suarez, Jackson Martinez, and a whole host of others attest, Latin American players in Europe seem to be incredibly robust, and with Daniel Sturridge constantly injured, a player like Hernandez could be just what the doctor ordered.

Hernandez or Benteke: Given the choice, who should Liverpool sign?
Author: Jaimie K
Remember Gabriel Heinze???...................the mancs went to court to stop him joining Liverpool.......................never going to happen.
ReplyDeleteI dont know if modern day owners might see it the same.
ReplyDeleteLook on the bright side, we sold them a player who had never kicked a ball for LFC, we bought a player which improved our team.
I chose Benteke over Hernandez but don't particularly want either.
ReplyDeleteAlso it really annoys me how he has his nickname on his shirt, that's like John Barnes having 'Digger' on his all those year's ago!!
Why not offer Sterling to the mancs in a cash + player deal including Hernandez........................City would panic and offer silly money in fear of losing Sterling to Utd???........................ :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is not going to happen...haha he said offer already accepted they forgot that he has broken clavicle...FSG going to buy an injury player after DS???
ReplyDeleteFSG have decided if City do not pay £50m , Sterling is going to Kirkby until January??, FSG seem certain to ruin this kid now, what a silly boy he has been.
ReplyDeleteCollar bones heal in a few weeks, nothing really.
ReplyDeleteIf people are concerned about Benteke they should be concerned about Chicharito too.. He will not give you a 20 goal season. Madrid and Manure did not want him why should we?
ReplyDeleteHe would give you 20 goals if he played every week.
ReplyDeleteWould rather hernandez. I think with SAF gone there might be a new era where sales may happen between the clubs. Benteke seems injured a bit too much for 32m
ReplyDeleteI think they should just sell him while hwe has value rather not have any player with his attitude.
ReplyDeleteFSG own him body and soul 24hrs a day, even in his sleep he is owned by FSG...........................he will soon realise his mistake unless City pay £50m...........................£45m will be rejected and City know it.
ReplyDeleteWe must get rid of him this season while he still has 2 years on his contract.
ReplyDeleteCity will panic after not getting any of their top targets yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement with you ,im sure he could be a 20 goal /season if he played more games .
ReplyDeleteDelph for 8m .
ReplyDeleteWhen Sterling refused to sign a new contract in Jan it must have been (imo ) because his agent had an agreement with MC already , LFC are absolutely right at sticking to 50m
So why did Manure never start him?? Don't jump on the bandwagon just because he is been linked to us. He barely start for Mexico. There is a reason why SAF got him to come off the bench.
ReplyDeleteRather hernandez , so would I , maybe he will not become the 50m player LFC is hoping Benteke will ,but he will score goal and win you games .
ReplyDeleteNot the bandwagon , I really like him and think he would do well at LFC ,
ReplyDeleteOk! He works hard but I think we already got strikers like him on the team already. We need someone who is taking us to the next level.
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteWe all agree but none of the top elite strikers are putting their hands up ,so what do you do ?
ReplyDeleteWho?.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Sterling.....In 2 years we'll still get £20 million minimum in a tribunal
ReplyDeleteI dont care how much we get as long as the club get rid of him cant wait for him getting to big for his boots at City whilst getting splinters in his a##.
ReplyDeleteIt's good our owners have stuck to their guns over sterling, the boy got found out as do City! And all cards in lfc court as the replacement is already signed, I agree having a sulking player is not great for moral though sending him to reserves is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteAs for Hernandez vs benteke I would take Hernandez due to I think he would be a better fit to the team, but a part of me wants to see benteke as I think with better service he will excel
I will take Lacazette. If there is no strikers now, go for a pedro type of offensive player then save for next summer. Buying players just for the sake of pleasing the fans because we need to replace Suarez is ridiculous. Wenger has slowly been building a team and right now he needs only 3 players to challenge.
ReplyDeletewe get has only needed 3players to challenge for the last 10 years
ReplyDeleteWenger, ( auto correction error)
ReplyDeleteI have been saying this for months, I would far prefer to see Hernandez at LFC next season but will MUFC do business with LFC when no business between the two has taken place for over 50 yrs? I doubt it........ But here's to hoping
ReplyDeleteHe's not going to sign for LFC, so why put in the heading,"Offer accepted already "?
ReplyDeleteSay what you like about the man he always get them there every year! Now he is winning trophies. Am just saying Hernandez is not the future and the fact that JK is putting that offer is accepted is misleading.
ReplyDeleteDangerpus player. Passionate. I never liked him for united because he was freakin fearsome! And then they go and waste his talent. Who goes on loan to real madrid? Only good players. I would be happy with this 1. And another one over the mancs. Leaves us with some spare over sterling sale, slap in a marco reus and a dm and holy shitballs we are a world class side!
ReplyDeleteLacazette will be the best, but who avail is better than hernandez otherwise? Not many. A hungry player overlooked for years. It could be a match made...
ReplyDeleteI think Man U not wanting him is not due to lack of talent its down to Rooney and RVP would throw wobbly if they were benched for him. unfortunately someone has to miss out when you have the big money team like MU and RM and it was him
ReplyDeleteIf he was banging in goals they won't care who sat on the bench. Casing point Falcao!
ReplyDeleteMan U will not sell so this is pointless FULL STOP. Every year we get bogged down with ONE transfer - this Sterling business is getting all LFC fans down - all we hear is Raheem SULKY Sterling over and over and over
ReplyDeleteAnything over £40 million and we should take it even if QPR get a cut - Sterling is not TOP CLASS - I dont care what the so called experts say - he is not - Jordon Ibe will outplay him this year YES This year
ReplyDeletewe need a goal scorer if he can do the job why not get him?
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea tbh lol
ReplyDeleteOnce Lacazette becomes available there will be half a dozen teams in line before us who'll be able to offer a better package in terms of wages, career ambitions and even, dare I say it, a more stable manager situation.
ReplyDeleteThis transfer would make sense but I can't see it happening
ReplyDeleteWas that not the case with Suarez - genuinely don't know but seems very unlikely that you couldn't also apply the above criteria to that transfer.
ReplyDeleteUsually I'd say no way, not never, no thank you very much, just because of the utd connection and also because of that connection it does seem unlikely BUT between him and Benteke it's a no brainer for me, Hernandez is cheaper and better.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it would be kind of nice to take him to their gaff and have him help us to all three points. The only thing that slightly concerns me is why he's fallen into this super sub role - is there some kind of underlying fitness issue perhaps.
Of course it goes without saying and I won't mention again, that Lacazette is still the preferred choice and by a long, long, long way.
Yet before last season, Hernandez had the best goals per minute ratio in Europe..
ReplyDeleteI do not think there is any issue between Liverpool and Man Utd transfers any more.
ReplyDeleteNow Fergie has gone I doubt very much that The Glazers or LVG will care.
Clearly that is just made up nonsense
ReplyDeleteThe only striker we have at the moment who is anything like Hernandez is Sturridge
ReplyDeleteNo it was just us and spurs who were in for him
ReplyDeleteFair enough, although beating them to a player is somewhat of a rarity I guess :)
ReplyDeleteHernandez would be a great signing for us, but will Man u sell him to us? in my opinion i don`t think so, these people who say that he`s not good enough need to watch him play more closely, he`s a 110% player who chasers lost causers, can you think of anybody who had the same mentality? yes a certain player who made our team look like a top EPL team once again, he may not be a Suarez but he has the same work ethic Luis has, so before anyone comes out with a silly statement like he`s not good enough for Man u so he`s not good enough for us, think on he would be even more motivated to prove to Man u and the rest of the prem elite what they missed out on, if i was Rodgers i would be trying my best to secure his services, Lacazette looks like a real good young player, but will he be as good in our premier league? he`s unproven so who knows, but can we risk another untried potential one season wonder? I myself would prefer a proven and hard working South American all day long bring it on LFC.
ReplyDeleteCase in point*
ReplyDeleteLMAO,,,,,,,
ReplyDeleteHe does what borini can't tho.he scores goals.
ReplyDeleteIntelligent footballer and a great finisher.think he would fit our system very well as he has very good movement. Doubt they would sell him to us tho..
ReplyDeleteFood for thought though, if we could come to some sort of agreement with United over Hernandez`s transfer with maybe sterling going the other way, and a good 30m plus why not? I wouldn`t scoff at it.
ReplyDeleteterrible deal
ReplyDeleteMaybe because they had Rooney and RVP?
ReplyDeleteI know there is a long history of very bad blood between the two teams but do they really deserve that?
ReplyDeleteThat was all Fergie.
ReplyDeleteThat puts the Sterling saga into perspective as well - I'm with you on the Hernandez and them giving us lots of cash bit, but have to say, I'd be very fearful of how good Sterling could be for them.
ReplyDeleteYes the fans are very forgiving too..........
ReplyDeleteOh well... Only 28 days to go :-)
ReplyDeleteBecause he would be a more suitable player than Benteke, and he as that South American never say die attitude, just like a certain player who made us look like a top top team once again, I do think Chicharito would give us 20 plus goals a season if played as a duel striker with Sturridge when fit or maybe even Ings, look at his movement and his sheer determination, the man could become a Anfield great if given the opportunity, but that will be all down to Ian Ayre to try his best to persuade Man u to sell to us, and that`s a big ask, but you never know money talks.
ReplyDeleteWhy If i might ask would that be such a bad deal? we get what we won`t and United get a spoilt brat in return, I think that could be one of the best deals ever on our behalf. That to me would be the best business deal we could make since we signed Luis Suarez.
ReplyDeleteDo you really think either FSG or the Glazers actually care what the fans think?
ReplyDeleteLook at teh Glazers since they have taken over.. have you ever seen any evidence that they give a damn what the Utd Fans think?
Yeah its a deal deal for us.. terrible for Utd.
ReplyDeleteLVG is a great manager, that is why he would never want sterling
Hernandez gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteHe is from Central America but I see what you saying. However he is not a player you can build your team around. SAF knew this.
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteSturidge is better than Chich! They are both Mr. Glass
ReplyDeleteSterling included in pre season tour squad. Balotelli left out, still think we'll struggle to shift him.
ReplyDeleteHaha imagine that!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame Molby's name was so short :)
Ya It might not be a bad deal.only thing is if sterling turns out to be a star it would be hard to take.I suppose he is going to leave anyway and those nice folks at united wouldn't rub it in our face if he becomes a great player:)
ReplyDeleteAnd when we loaned out Borini he showed he was more than capable of scoring goals...
ReplyDeleteYet we came to the conclusion he's not good enough for us. Sounds a lot like Hernandez and United to me.
Like Borini, he'd be great for a mid table club, but not quite good enough for a top 4 team.
Balo is in for a GREAT season ,will score 20+ goals for us!
ReplyDeleteyou think we'll get that many penalties this season
ReplyDeleteAnd razor
ReplyDeleteI don't think they really care about the fans no not any more than most other owners but I don't think they will want to antagonise them either unless it's a really good deal. But anyway I doubt it will happen
ReplyDeleteWell that's the U21's sorted
ReplyDeleteI am really confused as to how you compare Borini with Hernandez. Hernandez has played for only 2 clubs in Europe and Man U and RM are 2 of the biggest.
ReplyDeleteAt Man U he played 102 games and started 49 of them.
37 goals scored.
CL he played 28 games with 18 starts.
He scored 9 goals there.
At RM he played 23 games with 7 starts and he had 7 goals.
He was less successful in CL with 8 games, 3 starts and only 1 goal.
Borini had 7 goals for Sunderland in almost 700 more minutes then Javier had for about 3 years in a row when Javier scored 13, 10 and 10 for Man U.
Borini scored 7 goals one year for Roma.
That is his extent of playing for another big club.
What other clubs do you speak of when you say Borini has scored a lot of goals for?
Sunderland and Roma is it and neither is or has been a big club on the level of Man U or RM in years, if ever.
Javier has never played for any mid level teams in Europe and has more than shown if he started on a regular basis he could put produce anyone Liverpool has or be a great compliment to a healthy Sturridge.
Hernandez was more than good enough for Man U to give minutes but just not be a starter on a regular basis. Yet he still started more games than Borini ever did in Liverpool by a wide margin. he was a 2nd option to Rooney and than Van Persie.
So because of that he must not be good enough to play? Nice logic.
Man U was a better club than Liverpool during the periods that Javier was there. He was good enough for them....they just chose to use him more as an off the bench option....Yet again started way more games than Borini ever did for the Reds. Heck Borini was always more of an afterthought.
The comp to Borini is so sideways and wacky but you write it with such conviction that you are right...... yet offer nothing to show that Borini is even a good comp. I assume your joking or trying to be ironic?
it probably wont but the Glazers have been antagonising the manc's since they stepped through the front door
ReplyDeleteThis year?
ReplyDeleteSorry don't agree.he's played and scored for big teams in big games and IMO is a far superior player.couldn't see Madrid taking borini on loan..
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I really admire what FSG are doing in regards to Sterling.
ReplyDeleteFor years the power was always been 100% with the players, they wanted a move, they got it.
I loved that they rejected Arsenal bid for Suarez even thou it did meet his release clause and refused to be bullied and they are now doing the same again with Sterling.
He may get his move in the end (if City come back for him which they might not do) but it will be on the clubs terms, not his.
Hernandez would fit better than Benteke...very Suarez like.
ReplyDelete...What he said.
ReplyDeleteSorry this is like a Greek referendum it doesn't matter how you vote ......
ReplyDeleteClavicle=collar bone
ReplyDeleteLacazette's agent has said that if he moves it will be to Arsenal as he wants to play CL .
ReplyDeleteSurely they can do a transplant or something though.....;-)
ReplyDeleteThey can give him Suarez left boot .
ReplyDeleteOn another note regarding Sterling and the fans reaction to him.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of it comes down to the massive disconnect between young footballers and fans.
Football has always been a working class sport. Go to any poor area around the world, the slums of India and Africa, the Brazilian Favelas, and you will always see young kids playing football.
So when you have a young player who is earning 2, 3 times more money in a week then most people will make in a year act like Sterling is acting it makes them very angry.
Whilst his agent might have a lot to answer for Sterling also need to accept responsibility for himself. The fact that Berahino has dumped Aidy Ward because of what has been happening with Sterling should show Sterling that he is in the wrong.
Yes Liverpool have not acted well, however by refusing to travel and trying to claim he was sick is very unprofessional and has drawn the wrath of both former players and the press.
I will admit that I will be very surprise if City do come back in for him when you take into the background of the owners and sponsors they will be very disapproving of Sterling actions.
Yup
ReplyDelete***Stop press***
ReplyDeleteHendo wins the battle to appear on the new Fifa 16 game cover.
***Stop press***
Must be a good omen that, it's going to be a great season.
Well...if it were his clavier, then perhaps an "organ" transplant might be possible.
ReplyDeleteWhat have the club done wrong?
ReplyDeleteThey have released information regarding contract negotiations which in my view is wrong.
ReplyDeleteWhen Sterling turned down a new LFC contract in Jan what do you think was going on behind the scenes ?
ReplyDeleteVery good. In fact too good for this audience;-)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter, the fact is it should of stayed behind the scenes, instead both the player and club decided wrongly to leak information to the press
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware of that, know Rodgers said "we've made him a "triffic" offer" & just presume the 100k came from the press
ReplyDeletewho do you think leaked the details of the contract offer to the press?
ReplyDeleteI did have to Google it and to be fair it was a totally different kind of organ to the one I was expecting :)
ReplyDeleteI'd lean more towards Sterling's camp
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Liverpool, at the beginning both parties handled it poorly.
ReplyDeleteBR was ask a question , to which he replied that RS had been made a terrific offer of 100k/w !
ReplyDeleteI cannot see anything wrong with that ?
Was he definitely not sick then?
ReplyDeleteas a parrot apparently
ReplyDeleteyes
ReplyDeleteMaybe a bit, cant remember that far back. Still think whole situation is 95% his fault.
ReplyDeleteBe amazed if anyone at the club was involved in leaking his number & wouldn't surprise me if his agent did it.
So why has there not been a transfer between the 2 clubs in 30 years then ? Fans will not allow it for starters mate
ReplyDeleteOne can only imagine how upset he'd be if he didn't receive a cake on his birthday then :)
ReplyDeleteIf they dont care what the fans think they will be out of business soon
ReplyDeleteThanks. Just wanted to be clear
ReplyDeleteThere is about as much chance as there is Greece keeping the Euro - ZERO
ReplyDeleteMaybe they could sneak him in while the fans are busy on their phones ;-)
ReplyDeleteTheir fans are terrible - cannibals even. They eat prawn sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteMust say I don't remember the currency scene, mainly just Sandy wearing those skin tight numbers. What it was to be young though and not even care that you were watching a musical.
ReplyDeleteThe right thing to of done was say.. "Sorry I can not comment on that, we as a club do not talk about on going contract negotiations in the press, it is between the Club and the player"
ReplyDeleteYou sure, Glazers haven't give a damn about the fans and they are still there after ten years
ReplyDeleteOkay.. re-read what I wrote..
ReplyDeleteIn the past, yes, fans had a say because football was not all about money. You also had the feelings of the Board and Manager.
Fergie was manager of Utd for how long.. 27 years?
He hated Liverpool with a passion so he was never going to sell any player to us.
You then Moyes.. like he was going to sell any player to Liverpool.
So out of 30 years, 28 of them you had 2 mangers who hated Liverpool.
So this is the first time in those 30 years that you have a manager at Utd not really give a toss about Liverpool and the Glazers really couldn't give a crap.
Sorry mate but once upon a time what the fans mattered, not any more.
Not next year?
ReplyDeleteNay....Schwensteiger just signed for Man utd
ReplyDeleteFriggin
ReplyDeleteMost under rated player at Utd... Love to sign him, but If we rightly refuse to sell to them, then we should expect the same from them.... The only thing i'd sell them is the steam of my pi55
ReplyDeleteWill anybody lend me a thoussand euros?
ReplyDeleteBolasie would be a great buy
ReplyDeleteBerahino now that he's fired Ward
ReplyDeleteCan't you find a cheaper hooker than that?
ReplyDelete20%. I'll need your bank details & your mothers maiden name
ReplyDeleteYeah he'd be alright.
ReplyDeleteatleast he played for madrid who came for Benteke?? NO BIG TEAM...that sums it up....
ReplyDeletehis is better than Sturridge...IMO
ReplyDeleteNow were linked with Medel. I can almost hear Rodgers ring Mancini. Gawan Roberto, gizza midfielder. Any midfielder really.
ReplyDeleteSaw that too and thought it would cause some unrest. LVG will manage to balls that all up though, I have great respect for the elderly but that poor bloke, bless him, he is all at sea and on a course set to collide with failure.
ReplyDeleteSturridge on his day is a top class striker. Whether he'll return the same player remains to be seen. I'm really worried for Sturridge that these injuries will take their toll and he'll end up like Torres, Owen and numerous others before who's bodies just can't cope with the demands of premier league football
ReplyDeleteOh come on Jamie, is this all we've got to work with again. When they say something for the weekend Sir, I'm sure this isn't it.
ReplyDeleteCan't we talk about Raheems' sharpness again:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbIy_ay9TtU
I Ayre and B Rodgers need to take their fingers out as our club need a Mobile Tough Tackling DM and a world class CM this summer who offers creativity and goals to club from centre of Club ( S Gerrard Natural replacement)
ReplyDeleteAs J Allen, E Can, J Henderson and J Milner are all average hard working central midfielders who can do a descent job in the centre of the park. But all do not protect back four well enough or break up enough attacks, they all do not create or score enough goals from centre midfield individually either.
None of those midfielders have that world class or extra bit of class Factor to replace S Gerrard:
That is why B Rodgers not bringing in Y Cabaye from PSG instead of competing with Crystal Palace for his signature
As Y Cabaye has that extra class, creativity, goals and quality and is a world class box to box CM
I Ayre and B Rodgers should sign one of these three mobile DM to replace the class and quality that club have not replaced nearly 6 years on of J Mascherano
Lars Bender Of Bayer Leverkusen
Sven Bender Of Borussia Dortmund
M Schneiderlin Of Southampton
Competition for L Leiva
B Rodgers and I Ayre should also bring in a CM who will bring that extra bit of class and quality to our centre midfield:
Koke Of A Madrid
T Alacantara Of Bayern Munich
M kovacic Of Inter Milan
R Nainggolan Of Roma
One of those world class CM should be brought to club this summer for £17-£34M
Whilst These 4 other players should be signed this summer:
K Papadopolous Of B Leverkusen for £7-£10M CB
competition for M Skrtel
Ludwig Augustinsson Of Copenhagen for £2-£4M LB
Competition for A Moreno
T Walcott Of Arsenal Or P Aubamayeng Of B Dortmund for £16-£20M
competition For D Sturridge
K Gamiero Of Seville for £8-£10M
competition for D Origi and D Ings
Whilst these 6 players should be shipped out as soon as possible this summer:
Bring in £70-£85M to Club
J Enrique LB for £2-£4M
F Borini FD for £9-£11M
R Lambert FD for £3-£5M
M Balotelli FD for £10-£12M
L Markovic RW / LW for £8-£12M
R Sterling LW / RW for £50M
Does anyone know where that dude Adam Griffin has gone? Always enjoyed reading his comments...
ReplyDeleteGuest articles? they were spot on. Also I'm hoping Jay Jay is still amongst us ;)
ReplyDeleteCompletely off topic, but I'd just want to shoutout to thank FSG for not being like the Spur's owners...
ReplyDeleteApparently Spurs just made a deal with the NFL (yes...the handegg league) that once their new stadium is built, a minimum of 2 American Football games a year will be played there, with the possibility of more games at other venues...
...no...that many deflections...
ReplyDelete...i voted benteke...cos i knew he needed support and was always gonna come in at under 20 odd % of the vote...
ReplyDelete..anyhow...on to more realistic stuff...cheryaid..sorry cheryshev...
30 mill euro offer to Madrid...all day we've apparently been nailed on for Marco 'sorry im in hospital' reus..then all of a sudden left-field shows up like the Philadelphia experiment in Bermuda and we've gone in for cheryshev at approx 11:00pm saturday night...wtf...?
..who is this guy and I thought we bought firmino to take sterlings place and more pressing was a striker...? wtf...?
Of the players currently being linked to LFC:
ReplyDeleteNo pls to Gary Medel - better using Lucas
No pls to Cheryshev - better using Ibe rather than sending him out on loan
No pls to Hernandez - sorry but he a Utd reject
Pls go all out to get Lacazette, and if we don't succeed plan B seems to be Benteke
And surely our #1 target should be a DM - Carvalho/Videl/Witsel/Illarramendi - where we need to splash the cash if we have any left in the kitty.
Haha, poor Kyriakos :(
ReplyDeleteFalcao was in no position to dictate whether or not he played. Fans weren't exactly too fond of him, he was terribly out of form, and he hasn't really done anything since he left Madrid. On the other hand, RVP is Van Gaal's long lost son, and Rooney is their captain. If either were dropped for Chicha, regardless of how good he was, there would be a ton of outcry from both the players and fans.
ReplyDeleteMost underrated player in the PL
ReplyDeleteThis has been my argument all along. It's not just Ward who has used the press it's the club. The club via BR attempted to manipulate the situation but it backfired.
ReplyDeleteHernandez is the better option for sure. He is a good player, better than Benteke but not at the level we need.
ReplyDeletechicharito is one of the best poachers in the world, can someone please give him some credit??
ReplyDeletechicharito is one of the best poachers in the world, can someone please give him some credit??
ReplyDeleteand sevilla will miss out..poor idiots...
ReplyDeleteOver my dead body.
ReplyDeleteI really hope so you need a bit of grit sometimes
