Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made several changes for today's must-win Premier League game with Queens Park Rangers.
FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson, Gerrard, Henderson, Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho, Lambert
SUBS: Ward, Toure, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Ibe, Markovic
* Lucas makes the bench after being out injured with a groin injury.
* Lallana makes his first start in a while. There can be no excuses today; Liverpool need allegedly big players like Lallana to step-up, and he has to make an impact in this game.
* Ditto Lambert, Henderson, Sterling, and Coutinho. All three are struggling for goals right now, and that's one of the main reasons Liverpool's season is suddenly in the toilet.
* Good decision to leave out Ibe; he had an ineffective game against West Brom, and he shouldn't be overplayed.
Given the personnel, it looks like Gerrard in midfield *again*. There's are only two central midfielders in the starting line-up, so Rodgers is clearly sticking with a failing strategy. Unbelievable, really.
It also looks like 442/433, with Can at right back (another mistake IMO):
---------------------- Mignolet
Can ------- Skrtel ------------ Lovren ---------- Johnson
Sterling ---- Gerrard ---- Hendo ------ Coutinho
----------------- Lallana
---------------------- Lambert
OR:
---------------------- Mignolet
Can ------- Skrtel ------------ Lovren ---------- Johnson
---------------Gerrard ---- Hendo
-------------------- Lallana
----------- Sterling ---- Coutinho
------------------- Lambert
I don't see how Liverpool can play 343 unless Sterling or Lallana plays as a wing-back:
---------------------- Mignolet
------ Can ---------- Skrtel ------------ Lovren
Sterling ----- Gerrard ---- Hendo ---- Johnson
--------------- Lallana - Coutinho
------------------- Lambert
Another option:
---------------------- Mignolet
Can ---------- Skrtel -------- Lovren ---- Johnson
-------------------- Hendo
------------ Gerrard ---- Lallana
------------------ Coutinho
------------- Lambert - Sterling
Henderson as a DM is a total waste, though. That said, let's hope it's not this:
---------------------- Mignolet
Can ---------- Skrtel -------- Lovren ---- Johnson
-------------------- Gerrard
------------ Hendo ---- Lallana
------------------ Coutinho
------------- Lambert - Sterling
My prediction: 2-1 Liverpool>

3-1 lfc win
ReplyDeleteCould be a 4-3-3 with the same back line, gerrard hendo at the CM, Coutinho at AM, Sterling and Lallana at the wings with Lambo down the middle.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone worked out a strategy for getting through this game sober and/or starting now but still being in charge of ones faculties for the boxing?
ReplyDeleteToday the "Rodgers out" Banner will be flown.
ReplyDeleteGood initiative.
The banner will say it all today.
We missed the league because of his stubbornness against Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
We reached the CL after four long years and yet all he found best for us is "gambling Balotelli for Suarez."
We don't want anymore of such mediocrity!
We are neither the stepping stone of his career nor part of his learning curve!
Win against QPR hardly matters now, particularly if he is to stay.
GET OUT RODGERS!
Just saw Rio Ferdinand's wife passed away.... RIP.
ReplyDeleteExtremely happy with Lambert getting a start.
ReplyDeleteOf all our strikers that are available I trust him the most, he's reliable and if you play to his strengths he'll score goals. Last season he and lallana played together very often and they were a good duo at Soton, it's a shame they hardly ever played together this season.
I think can is wasted at RB, he should either play as a CB or in midfield. Manquillo should be used as a RB but for some reason he's fallen out of favour with BR...
Why doesn't BR put in some youngstars for the last few games (f.e. Sinclair, Rossiter, Wilson). I mean the season is as good as over, CL is out of grabs and we have nothing to really play for? Give those young boys a chance to play next to a football idol like Steven Gerrard!
I've cracked BR's team selection code.
ReplyDeleteAll name go in a hat and first 11 out play !
I'm sorry, but that banner is a complete embarrassment. It's one thing to criticise BR and call for his sacking, and another to humiliate aout entire fan base.... Utd did if for Moyes and that made their entire club look like a joke. Now they've done it for BR, and we look like hypocrites. I doubt any manager's gonna want to come in now...
ReplyDeleteSome will say it doesn't matter. I say it does.
ReplyDelete3-0 to Liverpool.
Migs for the golden glove
Raheem to score one and miss one sitter
BR to pull off Johnson at half time ;-)
So much for all the talk about BR giving the younger players a chance . NO youngster will get a chance !
ReplyDeleteJohnson , Gerrard and Lambert .All leaving but starting today ,
Good thing Miggy got his name picked. Could've been dicey with Toure in goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad day when Liverpool supporters take their cue from them.
ReplyDeleteCL is out of grabs, but we still need to play for Europa. Something is better than nothing, and it offers us another route into the CL every season too. Plus, it helps with managing minutes if we want to grow our squad.
ReplyDeletethere's a big difference between fans and supporters, Liverpool fans and Liverpool supporters both sing "You'll never walk alone" but the SUPPORTERS know the real meaning of the words, THE FANS JUST SAY THEM, shame.
ReplyDeleteI liked my own comment for you ;)
ReplyDeleteYou right no youngers players given a chance i think its all about Rodgers saving his job thats why this team is been selected its a nothing match but if Liverpool lost the pressure on Rodgers to go would mount its up to the owners i like to see DE Boer given a chance have to wait and see
ReplyDeletethink we will struggle today, good result is we win with that team
ReplyDeleteLiverpool 2-0 pity none of the boys are getting a run and we are playing a few who are gone.
ReplyDeleteno point in playing gerrad for me ,this is an ideal game to look at other options in the squad
ReplyDeleteGood man, sorry I'm still betwixt and between on whether to sign up for an account again. No up-vote feature for guest. You could stick another one by your comment regards Rio's wife for me too though if you liked ;-) RIP
ReplyDeleteMine's just linked to my gmail account. I wouldn't have made a disqus account if I didn't have it :D
ReplyDeleteExcept Rodgers cheats and keeps one eye half open to look for Allen's name.
ReplyDeleteI thought he kept Allen's name up his sleeve and let it drop out when he reaches in to the hat. :P
ReplyDeleteHe has more than one trick to keep one step ahead...
ReplyDeleteCheers for info, hadn't really seen that option, will check it out. Cheers for the other upper too :-)
ReplyDeleteLets hope if indeed this ridiculous plane does fly over that the genuine Reds in the crowd make some noise to show their disdain. Doesn't matter what your opinion of BR is, if he leaves it should be handled with some dignity, not harangued out by idiot fans.
Twelve minutes in and this game is so exciting that I forgot it was on, and I've been parked in front of the TV since the build up.
ReplyDeleteRodgers has not learnt anything. Johnson as usual finds himself in the squad, 4-3-3 again which has worked so well in the past. More insipid football. Why not give Brannagan, Wilson, Kent or Yesil a chance.
ReplyDeleteThere's are Ace in the right place, ave it!!!!
ReplyDeleteOooooo we can score goals after all .... thank goodness for Coutinho - only quality we have left !
ReplyDelete'our'
ReplyDeleteAbsolute embarrassment with the banner absolute cretins made a mockery of real fans.. Disgusting behaviour
ReplyDeleteIs it in the stands?
ReplyDeleteI think he always plays better in the second half and that might be why
ReplyDeleteTake your head out of your a*** you have good spells and bad spells so times its not all rainbows and butterflies but you stick with your men through thick and thin. It's not been the best of seasons but it happens to some of the very best, he needs support not an excercution. We are Liverpool football club not chelski man city or the SCUM ....YNWA Brendan
ReplyDeleteIt was flying around, not sure about now.
ReplyDeleteFlown over the stadium before kick off
ReplyDeleteBenteke is doing a good job, can see that rumour gathering pace again next week.
ReplyDeleteBeing said that it was MU fans ..... ?
ReplyDeleteBravo Rickie..
ReplyDeleteQPR goal was not out....
ReplyDeleteYes he always has a smile on his face
ReplyDeleteHope LFC finishes off this match... not too pleased. But Lallana plays better when Lambert is there.
ReplyDeleteWas, surely. And it was a foul too, you can't put your hand on th gk who is on the line..
ReplyDeleteIt was a difiicult angle though. Mig did well to get it in
ReplyDeleteWhole of ball not over the line? Think they hand balled it other end anyway.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised by that but still does our reputation no good or brodges confidence. Damaging all round
ReplyDeleteHe would have on that sort of money and "extras" at half time - his agent is a tough negotiator.....
ReplyDeleteIt was
ReplyDeleteDid it say Brendan stay
ReplyDeleteCritams surely - see below ;-)
ReplyDeleteLets hope he takes Sterling off soon and not Lallana (again) Sterling has not beat a man yet.
ReplyDeleteThat's no reason to yank him off at half time - beat you to it Ash! (so to speak)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely take him off if he's gonna do that.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Doesn't matter who he did or didn't play for so I expect to see a lot more up votes/comments on hear or I'll be sorely disappointed.
ReplyDeleteI knew that was you typing!!
ReplyDeleteI like this front four
ReplyDeleteBloody hell Sterling what a miss .. trying to tell us something ??
ReplyDeleteHe cant finish to save himself.
ReplyDeleteSoton 2 - 1 down and down to 10 men
ReplyDeleteWe are playing 10 vs 11 and why? Johnson is non-existent.
ReplyDeleteSad to see "RODGERS OUT RAFA IN" banner, it will damage our reputation of being one of best fans in the world.. Although Rodgers must leave at all cost
Sort of thing Man Ure fans would do to tarnish our reputation
ReplyDeleteYou have to take the thick with the thin sure it's not been the best season but there has been enough positives to suggest he can get it right he's still learning support him not exercise him we are Liverpool football club we are better than the rest, he'll not get everything right but no one will .. YNWA B.R
ReplyDeleteHe's the one who should be taken off
ReplyDeleteJust missed a sitter !!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh sweet Jesus
ReplyDeleteoh no
ReplyDeleteAre we cursed or something?
ReplyDeleteGerrards mind is elsewhere now ..
ReplyDeletethe question is : are we throwing the match or we are really that bad ?
ReplyDelete10 now bury them for gods sake
ReplyDeleteMaybe if they get 2 more sent off we could score
ReplyDeleteHe eventually had to miss one, he scored most of them
ReplyDeleteBrendan will be pleased as we have had 62% possession .....
ReplyDeleteAll he has is pace, nothing else.
ReplyDeleteCocaine.
ReplyDeleteBR will come out and say Sterling was OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteF''ckin ave it!!!!
ReplyDeleteNice goal made up for the penalty
ReplyDeleteHappy with that and The win, but that's just bad defending by qpr
ReplyDeleteGerrard!! God I will miss him..
ReplyDeleteHe brought that ball down well a few secs ago
ReplyDeleteEspecially after the cosy ing up in the week ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrying to get more money on his transfer fee?
ReplyDeleteExactly. Why would Utd fans want Rodgers out?
ReplyDeleteAnd now we sing at last !
ReplyDeleteQPR showed some fight though
ReplyDeleteDunne did
ReplyDeleteUntil Gerrard scored I was considering doing a Cobaine.
ReplyDeleteGround out the result against very poor opposition ,poor display from a team which looks rudderless, its time for rogers to bow out he's not the man to take us forward but Rafa isn't either.
ReplyDeleteRafa just signed a new contract at Napoli he aint coming.
ReplyDeleteI sure of man u fans, they don't want us progress so there's no chance they could do such a thing... It's just like us wishing moyes out when we know he could completely destroy them in two seasons time
ReplyDeleteAnd 3 points to Southampton's nil :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd who is this 'reputation' important to? And are these the same best fans in the world who will flood forums with comments if a child rejects a contract or those who will rush to vocally support someone who was unequivocally wrong and offensive in his actions because he wears the shirt?
ReplyDeleteYeah, best fans in the world. Self appointed title that all fans misguidedly give themselves
I'm not sure of man u fans, they don't want us progress so there's no chance they could do such a thing... It's just like us wishing moyes out when we know he could completely destroy them in two seasons time
ReplyDeleteGoooood I didn't want to choose between Rafa and Klopp..
ReplyDeleteOur reputation for losing relevance over the last 25 years.
ReplyDeleteKlopp..all the way..this is no brainer
ReplyDeleteSame difference
ReplyDeleteProud.
ReplyDeleteAt least we don't have any dilemma now!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding
ReplyDeleteWaay off topic, but just saw a training vid of Reina hitting a bicycle kick winner in head tennis... why in the world did we ever sell him ;(
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree, I he ever had a Kompany in front of him, he would have been undisputed No.1 in PL
ReplyDeleteI believe Ian Iyre and company must have woken up from their long slumber after watching the banner today.
ReplyDeleteIf they don't act now , they risk losing a huge supporter base
Lambert was adequate; good one for our defence showed gritt and determination shame about the clean sheet though...
ReplyDeletehave you any pictures of it?
ReplyDeleteYep but Migno still on for golden glove
ReplyDeleteyour photo explains everything,
ReplyDeleteSo much about our defensive frailties :)
ReplyDeleteNot at all. But I am proud to support this great club.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, if it was one of those days OPR first half goal should have stood... The most annoying thing is that we are really struggling to score no matter how poor the opposition is.
ReplyDeleteneither.
ReplyDeleteOh, I though you're quoting Rodgers. My apologies;-)
ReplyDeleteNervy but still way off the pedal....happy for Stevie G....u just knew he was going to miss the penalty today but happy for he redeemed himself and LFC for the win.
ReplyDeleteElsewhere today: Suarez Hat-trick.......! Sorry.. I know he is gone..
A circle in a square box.
ReplyDeleteI suggest fsg should give br red card now and negotiate with klopp before it will be too late. I can see other big guns makingmmanagerial change because of klopp availability
ReplyDeletethey are all over internet mate
ReplyDeleteCheers;-)
ReplyDeletei hate to say it but the staff and advisers assisting FSG are poor and very slow to react.
ReplyDeleteThe team that look out for prospective managers and the scouting team that is deployed should be blamed for this poor showing and a trophy-less period of 3 year.
i fear they will do any better again
Still, it should've been Sterling out, and Ibe could've played right..
ReplyDeletewhy should their goal have stood? A. there was a foul on our keeper and B. the ball swung out of play even before it even bounced...none of their players complained about it much and some of the players had even stopped playing, and on the site I was watching it on called it "out" before it was even in the net.
ReplyDeleteTo the 'Rafa brigade' that flew the banner today - go fly a kite instead. #shameful.
ReplyDeleteone swallow does make a summer
ReplyDeleteIf I had known in advance I would have arranged for it to have been buzzed by the 'RED 'Arrows .....
ReplyDeleteNo, just shit.
ReplyDeleteI know but we have seen the worstof that given
ReplyDeleteBecause bicycle kicking tennis balls wasn't his primary role.
ReplyDeleteHe lost it, mentally and physically and wanted to leave.
So sterling thinks he is worth more then a 100k per week... the way he is playing I wouldn't pay him more the a tenner a week.
ReplyDeleteAlso Come on WBA
totally agree
ReplyDeleteSterling has to be the worst finisher in history of football.. I know some may argue he's not but there's no how you could back it up, even from a yard out he misses without any pressure. How he's playing every 90minute is what I will never know .
ReplyDeleteNOTE: john hartson (bbc5 live ) said he could have put that away with his eyes closed and questioned Sterling worth
Result and performance aside -- what an embarrassing day. All you moronic mouthbreathers with your Rodgers out crap have had your moment now haven't you? I've never seen such small-time nonsense at LFC before. Absolute bloody idiots the lot of you. There's not one of you I have the least respect for. Your standpoint is well represented by the ignorant excuses for football fans that arranged the banner. I am actively ashamed of the lot of you. Totally pathetic.
ReplyDeleteThe only comfort I take is that hardly any of you are scousers or have any meaningful relationship with the club anyway. Just awful.
Nothing if not predictable eh?
ReplyDeleteHad we won our usual games WBA and Mighty Hull, it was ManU that would have trailed us at the moment!
ReplyDeleteNods you are dead right and to prove it what has Reina done since leaving us, he didnt get any better thats for sure......it's like the" bring rafa back" people...who forget how many people wanted him out and how wrong it all went before he left
ReplyDeleteYour wish is their command Olsen just scored
ReplyDeleteAnother who I think his mind is elsewhere ..
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Mr Lazers but being a scouser is not a pre requisite for being a Liverpool supporter. Also the majority of posters on here who are in the BR out camp (which I'm not) have articulated their arguments in an intelligent way, they are also entitled to take an opposing view to you and I; and that does not make them idiots. The people who displayed that banner today do not represent the true Liverpool supporter and to group them with everyone who wants BR out is just plain wrong, and yes I am a scouser but that doesn't make me a more entitled supporter than one born elsewhere?
ReplyDeleteReliable! My other guess was that you may have been tempted with an 'exercise' based quip earlier, someone was typing that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteHahaha good one
ReplyDeleteDitto
ReplyDeleteIf WBA hang on it will be a miracle.Everybody get down on your knees and start praying
ReplyDeleteThat's very generous and sensible Mr. Timp, and if I were anything other than *incandescenet with rage* I'd agree with you. But sometimes you can tell the quality of an argument by the quality of the people who hold it. I want the outers to look at that "protest" from today and see themselves and reflected in it. And to have a little think.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion the level of commitment someone has to the club, their history of support, their knowledge about football and about Liverpool, *is* important in establishing their credibility. There's a world of difference between the opinion of some casual random who wanders in from the internet, and someone with some seasons under their belt who has a proper commitment to the club and, yes, to the city it represents. At some level that *does* matter, it's got to matter, otherwise it's not really football any more -- it might as well be anything!
With 2 simple wins over West Brom and Hull we now would have been above Man U (If Man U loses to West Brom, which they are at the moment)
ReplyDeleteSo it really is sad that BR gave up on those 2 games as it looked he did, because we could have most likely won a CL spot with the fixtures up ahead for both teams.
Any footballer, especially one who thinks one who thinks he is worth over 100k a week should be able to put away a chance like that.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, his mind is elsewhere.
That is one of the many things I loved about Saurez. His heart might of been at Barc but by god he gave it everything and then some every time he stepped on the pitch with a Liverpool shirt.
A "simple win over West Brom"... who are presently 1 up on Man Utd at Old Trafford. Have some respect for the opposition for heaven's sake before calling into question the bona fides of the club staff.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just BR, the attitude of many players suggests they also have given up
ReplyDeleteWell said
ReplyDeleteWell if WBA hang on, then utd have also got to play Hull themselves as well as Arsenal still, so lets all find someone or something to do a lot of praying too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you the Baggies
ReplyDeleteCL qualification still possible! Just Brendan needs to change his mindset and concentrate on grinding out results now. ManU is in a freefall. 3 defeats on the trot, one must think LVG is really overrated.
ReplyDeleteObviously it's not the finishing season to Gerrard's career we all wanted but, if his parting shot is helping us displace utd and gain ourselves a champions lge spot that's something good. Come on the Reds, we can still do this.
ReplyDeleteVan Gal 3 losses on bounce BR not the only manager with probs !
ReplyDeleteIf somehow LFC manage to sneak into top4
ReplyDeleteOne must believe the Gerrard goal at death after a penalty miss combined with RVP's miss and their Odd defeat was destination...
Yep, we need us an LVG please stay plane for next weekend :-)
ReplyDeleteMan Utd final three games
ReplyDeleteAway to Palace
Home to Arsenal
Away to HUll
Our final 3 games
Away to Chelsea
Home to Palace
Away to Stoke
Mind you we are up against Chelsea and as I like to call them, Liverpool-shit-disturbers Crystal Palace. The positive to that is we face them at home, where we have a much better record, whereas Man U face them away, and works a bit more to our liking.
ReplyDeleteWe really need to beat Stoke and Cry, Chelsea draw would be a miracle, but that way I think Man U will drop below us.
Had you led with the first measured paragraph above, I probably would have agreed with your point of view!
ReplyDeleteI admit, it will be an absolute miracle.
ReplyDeleteExcept BR is not good at that. He constantly makes his personal decisions rather than the best ones, even at crucial times, which has undoubtedly proven costly for us in the past.
ReplyDeleteNo argument there.
ReplyDeleteTrue. I had a mate of mine, a Spurs fan really rub it in about losing to Hull & missing out on champions league. He's not talking so much now!
ReplyDeleteVery True, for me its not so much as Utd losing their games as I can see both Arsenal and Palace getting points as well as Hull actually, its more us winning our games.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, the primary task is with us to beat or at least draw Chelsea.
ReplyDeleteThe time for measured discourse is over! The time for rabid ranting has come!
ReplyDeleteI hope BR watched the WBA-ManU game to see how an underdog could get all the three points. There is only one way to beat Chelsea and that is to PARK the BUS, Brendan please for the love of God, don't attack Chelsea, we should think of getting a penalty from the first minute.
ReplyDeleteI share the same opinion of you, Suarez plays with all his heart and push others around him while a 19years kid thinks he's bigger than the club.. FSG would be very stupid to give him 100 grand a-week. I would rather give coutinho what he wants
ReplyDeleteRabid Ranting one of the finest mediums of communication!
ReplyDeleteNice touch Stevie presenting Joey Barton with bouquet of flowers before match for Rio as token of sympathy . Respect and kinda keeps things in perspective !
ReplyDelete1) You play head tennis with football -.-
ReplyDelete2) He needed someone to spur him on. His form was lacking because of complacency and lack of concentration. If we sold Jones and got Miggy, that could've been the spark to get him back to his best.
Moot point now though. Will always be the best goalkeeper with the ball at his feet in my eyes though :D
Pulis does it again. That man deserves a chance at a bigger club he gets more from nothing than almost anybody
ReplyDeleteYep it's definitely a bloody big mountain still but at least the shit-dubs have Pardew at the helm now and I think we do ok against him.
ReplyDeleteChelski, god how great would it be to do them at the bridge, no easy task but it's all coming to a head now - could help BR a whole lot too if he can pull the proverbial rabbit from a hat their.
That banner was disgraceful. And whoever funded it deserves to be kicked in the mouth. That shows a lack of class. We're not ManUre scum, or coaches and players deserve better.
ReplyDeleteI'm against it
ReplyDeleteUsed to be a bus driver and now brought his expertise to the beautiful game . Think he will be buying his keeper a drink or two tonight !
ReplyDeleteaw stop, we'll have people on here calling for Rogers to be sacked and replaced by pulis next if you are not carefull, pulis is a great motivater with just stop the other team tactics, how many clubs has he managed and how many times has he been sacked, there are loads of managers out there like him, great for a while till the players get tired of listening to motivational speaches and bullyboy tactics.
ReplyDeleteso am I
ReplyDeleteAnd sad if at the end it all comes down to
ReplyDeleteGoal Difference ....
Well said mate.....".we are Liverpool.....la la la la la"
ReplyDeleteStrong words from Pius as well...
ReplyDeleteOn boaz myhil performance : "Goalkeepers, that's what they paid for, to have a game like that now and then" had it been Brendan? He's best gk in the world
Come on Palace, come ooooooon!!!
ReplyDeleteWow it's like BR and Pulis have nothing in common!
ReplyDeleteWrong kind of website mate ;-)
ReplyDeleteBrendan will no doubt be LFC's manager next season and I will tell you why ...
ReplyDeleteWhen he is summoned by FSG in a few weeks time the conversation will probably go something like this :-
Brendan .......
" Begorra You see it’s like this JW . We knew it was aways going to be tough losing a world class player like Luis . However we all decided to invest in a young squad for the future even if their lack of experience would cost us in the short term . We had Sturridge who scored 20 goals and had 7 assists last season and Sterling , a rising star who could only get better this season ! Unfortunately Sturridge had all this time out with injuries for most of the season and the younger players took longer than anticipated to adjust to playing for such a great club as LFC and with all these extra matches to play ! II took time for ‘the shirt to fit ‘. Also the gamble WE decided to take on Ballotelli just didn’t pay off … Last season , when I almost won the premiership for you , we were not in European competitions , had fewer games and only had the league to concentrate on . Next season will be the same as last and many of our younger players will have gained the experience and come good. Look how LVG , a much more experienced manager , has also struggled to get up to speed after spending all that money ! I need one more season to see the job through and judge me then . I now need to get rid of the dead wood and buy some experienced key players … mainly a quality striker as our lack of goals this season has let us down badly . If you replace me now the cost will be great not only in money but time as there will be another transitional period and the result could very well be the same . Consolidation is key and you know , at the present time , I am the best man for the job …..."
Henderson should have grabbed the ball off him for the penalty
ReplyDeleteFSG would be foolish to buy this shit. Unfortunately I don't trust FSG with wise decisions when a team of stupids is guiding them
ReplyDeleteThat's awful. Condolences.
ReplyDeleteDisgraceful. As someone that lives far away I perceive living near Merseyside to be a privilege for a Liverpool supporter, so it rankles to see people behave like brats.
ReplyDeleteAs you said earlier, not everybody lives up to the name 'supporter'.
ReplyDeleteThat was the type of issue that makes me think twice about BR. Even so, the banner was putrid.
ReplyDeleteGood that we won, but for entertainment we should really be watching the Super 15. Some glorious rugby today.
ReplyDelete+1
ReplyDeleteWon, United lost and still it means nothing because we peshed away 5 points in the last two games. A season gone and still,Rodgers doesn't know his best 11 because they're all equally poor.
ReplyDeleteNot seen any confirmation of this on the net.. what's your source?
ReplyDeleteBloooody hell. Typical Liverpool. We could easily be in the top 4 right now. United have literally self capitulated but we lost to f***ing hull and drew to WBA. I can not put into words how much that frustrates me.
ReplyDelete
