DONE DEAL: €17m star is now an LFC player. Boss 'wishes him luck' at Anfield

PSG boss Laurent Blanc has confirmed that Mamadou Sakho is set to leave the Ligue 1 club for Liverpool.

The 23-year old defender had a medical at Melwood earlier today, and when asked this evening about the proposed transfer to Liverpool, Blanc told reporters:

"I would really have liked to continue working with him [Sakho] but he's signalled his desire to leave the club.

"The board and himself have found a solution. I wish him good luck"

Sakho will reportedly cost Liverpool €17m. Blanc also paid tribute to the defender:

"Sakho is not just anybody at PSG. He has been here, he has lived everything here, he was the symbol of the club".

In my view, this is a fantastic signing for Liverpool: a quick, powerful, athletic, technically gifted central defender with leadership ability, great experience, and (hopefully) his best years ahead.

Would this transfer be happening if Kolo Toure and Aly Cissokho hadn't picked up injuries? I have my doubts. The duo's misfortune seems to have acted as a catalyst for the club to take serious action in the transfer market. Ultimately, those injuries were probably a blessing in disguise.

Welcome to LFC :-)

  1. Good news! I've never seen th fella play, but he sounds like he'll bring much needed pace power and aerial strength to our back line.

  2. It's great we've got him. We defiantly needed an additional strong centre back and I wish him luck. But what happened to strengthening our attacking options?

Ilori (Left) and sahko(right) leaving Melwood after passing their medicals.

    ReplyDelete
  10. This guy is exactly what we need. A dominant centre back whose excellent in the air and composed with the ball at his feet. I'm really pleased with this signing. Sign a good left winger/left sided attacker and I think we'll challenge for the champions league spots..

Excellent signing, our squad is Improving, well done to BR and FSG.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Sakho and Iloris, nice, not sure we need Given on our books though. Just a wide player,Yarmolenko would be good and a defensive midfielder, then we should be on the right track.

  13. liverpool4life5658:43 pm, August 31, 2013

I know people don't like given, but he still got it, and he brings experience to our squad also he a decent back up GK.

    ReplyDelete
  14. there wants not essentials mate

    ReplyDelete
  15. He won't be playing that much and his experience along with Toure's is priceless. He's certainly an upgrade on Jones, even if he's 37.

    ReplyDelete
  16. were does it say done deal and were does it say liverpool?

    just speculation

    ReplyDelete
  17. So could this mean Agger is moving to DM and Steven G moving up a little bit up the field???? HMMM!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. "found a solution, I wish him the best of luck" a clear picture of him in Melwood... Need me to give you the answer to 1 +1 ?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Can't you see him yawning sitting with Lfc training gear on

    ReplyDelete
  20. .....and there is realising you can't have the moon when you can't afford the rocket.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Given is rubbish and he's 3rd choice, anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Some people are just not smart, let them be!

    ReplyDelete
  23. No. I'm thinking that BR don't see classical DM in his formation. And Agger can play DM only in emergency situations

    ReplyDelete
  24. ...who says football players live in a bubble? ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thank god we've signed him, am so freaking happy. I always wanted him to come to LFC and now we have him. Yay!!! YNWA Sakho!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ilori is quality, could be our future vice captain in 5 years+ he speaks like a captain.

    ReplyDelete
  27. liverpool4life5658:56 pm, August 31, 2013

    Aha that's a good one :P

    ReplyDelete
  28. Goes to show why we shouldn't slate FSG. I expect a Marquee attacking signing in January when players are desperate for World Cup football

    ReplyDelete
  29. Quality signings hopefully, sahko hopefully will a slot straight in
Hopefully a Lw is coming or Moses on loan with an option to buy
He was good at Wigan ,still young enough to learn BR way of playing and if he's happy to play on the left
Given would be a good backup goalie if cheap enough
Finish off the buying with a quality goal scoring Lw and happy days FSG and BR
Give us hope and belief and push for top 4

    ReplyDelete
  30. the best defender we could have get, cant wait to see him on the pitch, our french beast

    ReplyDelete
  31. We wont come Top 4 but we'll make a hell of a challenge for it narrowly missing out. Everyone predicts 5th for us. I hope I'm wrong

    ReplyDelete
  32. Does he have swag?

    ReplyDelete
  33. not as much as heskey had, lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. I hope your wrong too..........:)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Why do you think agger would move to DM ?
Has he ever shown he could ?
I'm not sure but I like him so if he can retrain in that position ,then toure and sahko CB ,with Kelly wisdom and llori learning the position the futures bright the futures liverbird red

    ReplyDelete
  36. Chris Rossington9:07 pm, August 31, 2013

Delighted with llori and Sakho, i think we should now let Skrtel and Coates when hes back go. We now have good quality competition at the back. Will be interesting to see how Brendan handles this situation now because Sakho is probably ready right now to dislodge either Agger or Toure. llori will prob be used as backup and given cup games.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yup, the point exactly! Brad does his best but Given is a better option for back up. Out of interest, has there been anything about his cost, had a quick scan and didn't see anything?

    ReplyDelete
  38. We're gonna regret selling Coates he's similar to Hyypia and will probably be beast for Serie A club

    ReplyDelete
  39. Chris Rossington9:09 pm, August 31, 2013

I think we have a chance, we dont have the distraction of the europa league, just think back to how good our form was back end of last season when we just had the league games to prepare for. Keep the faith

    ReplyDelete
  40. Chris Rossington9:11 pm, August 31, 2013

too clumsy and slow for EPL for me or especially for our team because we are quite open at the back when full backs are bombing on. He would prob be quality for like stoke.

    ReplyDelete
  41. We are Liverpool Never write off Liverpool one of the old football sayings start to believe and it may happen we can go higher than 4th you got to transmite your thoughts ie our support and the players will respond come on you redmen

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hyypia was really slow. Coates will make it at a Serie A club at a slow paced league

    ReplyDelete
  43. if we would have gone for him all out at the beginning im positive we would have saved 5m..IMO he has to play from the off we have needed this type of player in our back 4 for years ..in an ideal world id like a similar player in midfield to give the spine real stregnth

    ReplyDelete
  44. Tottenham teams overrated they have a language barrier problem for now. We need to take advantage while they gel that will make the difference!

    ReplyDelete
  45. hypia could win a header Coates is 6 7 and couldn't beat an egg

    ReplyDelete
  46. Not sure that's the case, he was waiting himself to see where he featured in PSG's plans...

    ReplyDelete
  47. liverpool4life5659:16 pm, August 31, 2013

Not really.... PSG wanted to keep him, and only wanted to loan him and he signs a new contract, that's why we had to go higher to twist their arm, also sahko told them to let him go.

    ReplyDelete
  48. In some respects your right but hyypia wouldn't suit the way we play now he was awesome as part of two banks of four which was how we played back then now we press further up the pitch but we could do with a CB scoring set pieces like he could
Coates is out for 9 months so I assume he won't be sold for a year so gives him a small chance but find it unlikely ,we need quicker more talented players with their feet

    ReplyDelete
  49. just what we need another usain bolt in midfield like agger

    ReplyDelete
  50. Coates is 6'5 :). He'll be world class in afew years but not with Liverpool.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Chris Rossington9:17 pm, August 31, 2013

As benitez used to say we need to be compact. We were never as open before as we play now imo, example on tuesday glen johnson when we are 2-1 up is furthest forward on the left, we gave the ball away, it was played down there right, where johnson should have been. We needlessly put ourselves at risk like that late on in games sometimes, when winning.

    ReplyDelete
  52. good luck to him i hope he makes it ...but after being given the run around by a postman and milkman in the cup last year i cant see it

    ReplyDelete
  53. Chris Rossington9:19 pm, August 31, 2013

another benitez term, game intelligence something Johnson lacks.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Well they are doing it very late now, so we can't expect everyone to remain patient over it. I feel the winger or an attacker is on the cards as well, but, not completely sure if we're going to get him now. As you said, it might be in January but I feel the need is now.

    ReplyDelete
  55. i hope thats the case i only want players who are keen to come and do well

    ReplyDelete
  56. coates couldn't head a bus queue

    ReplyDelete
  57. Every young player has to be shit at one point or they'll be horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Absolutely.......my optimism is quite high at present and am attempting to keep it in check 'til Sunday at least.....Fingers crossed for a nice win tmrw my friend........:)

    ReplyDelete
  59. liverpool4life5659:22 pm, August 31, 2013

He a real leader he will improve us :) an he turned roma ane AC milan down for us.also what was you saying couple weeks back we was done in the market?;-) and we won't sign no one. FSG are not going to guy anyone.... I did tell you at the time to wait and see... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  60. He only wanted to join us, he's always openly admitted that.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Chris Rossington9:24 pm, August 31, 2013

Fingers crossed indeed, one thing i'm a bit worried about though is our 2nd half performances we seem be playing amazing for first half in games, should be out of sight and then struggle after the break, hopefully after fitness workout on tuesday, they put it in for full 90. Come on you redmen!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. i like him as daft as it sounds but he cant tackle for shit and hes weak in the air for his size.....

    ReplyDelete
  63. He'll develope I hope he makes it, though probably not at Liverpool. Now for January we must scout our Lamela types for 5m!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hyypia was not really slow. He was quick enough, but such was his genius as a defender, he didn't need to move fast. His amazing positioning and game intelligence meant he was always in the right place at the right time. In 10 years at Anfield, you can count the number of time players actually skinned Hyypia on the fingers of one hand.

    ReplyDelete
  65. he'll have a point to prove...he was their product, club captain at 23, their Stevie according to reports...but he was then basically overlooked by Blanc... tried keeping him with promises but the lad wants to play and figure for France in the World Cup... seems to me he's left for the best reason...to play and shine.

    ReplyDelete
  66. im sure the two defenders going out injured has played a part to....

    ReplyDelete
  67. Good call. People have been writing about FSG as being miserable, but this proves they are willing to spend when the need is there. Ditto.....well done FSG.

    ReplyDelete
  68. A Lw could make the difference mate, team work is the ethos of the team look how hard sturidge works off the ball
It's a big ask to gain 12+ points over a season but I think we've gained four already this season as we would have drawn those first two in past years
    Team spirit looks good
    We have to believe
Hopefully come may you'll be gad you were wrong :-p

    ReplyDelete
  69. Chris Rossington9:28 pm, August 31, 2013

Probably by Drogba once or twice comes to mind. Agreed though, he was immense

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hey Jaimie, I was banned for a long time but now I'm unbanned why was I banned o.O?

    ReplyDelete
  71. for calling hypia slow

    ReplyDelete
  72. It was 6 months ago, you cheeky boy ;P

    ReplyDelete
  73. I remember Ronaldo owning him on two occasions or maybe it was Rooney

    ReplyDelete
  74. ronaldo has owned most defenders in the world at some point

    ReplyDelete
  75. Spurs haven't the support that we have also i think nerve comes into play we have quite a lot of experience now

    ReplyDelete
  76. ive heard rogers keeps leaving coates on the back of a chair in the pub in the hope someone robs him

    ReplyDelete
  77. Most of the player Spurs bought arent English-Speaking they'll need 3 months atleast for basic English and football terms in English hopefully we take advantage

    ReplyDelete
  78. Never saw sammi get bullied

    ReplyDelete
  79. hes listening to rogers team talk

    ReplyDelete
  80. You sure? Drogba,Ronaldo (to a degree)?

    ReplyDelete
  81. liverpool4life5659:37 pm, August 31, 2013

Not really, we wanted a CB BR confirmed that before Coates and Toure got injured :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. this transfer window may well have a few surprises yet......so put the Kleenex down and dont get excited hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  83. ... it ain't the 70's anymore....not sure it works like that in multilingual squads...besides some of the new guys speak the manager's native tongue. Spurs have bought really well, the biggest hope we have is that though quality players they don't gel as a team.

    ReplyDelete
  84. liverpool4life5659:40 pm, August 31, 2013

Surprises how? :) 2-3 more players may be on the way :-)

    ReplyDelete
  85. carry on slating hypia and chances are you'll be gone another 6 months hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  86. it doesn't matter m8

    ReplyDelete
  87. liverpool4life5659:44 pm, August 31, 2013

We are going to sign Danilo from coutinho first team in brazil, 17 year old his birthday is in February so he might arrive next summer, he likened to paulinho of spurs.

    ReplyDelete
  88. We've lost defenders to injuries,so I guess it forced their hand but I'm glad we've signed them both never seen lloris but sounds promising, sahko in the 1st team straight away
Skrtel probably getting sold to Napoli ,it'll give us funds for a LW hopefully

    ReplyDelete
  89. I think Hyypia world class and a legend I just think we could develope Coates into one but unlikely, I never even slated him

    ReplyDelete
  90. cant see the point in signin given.we have just got rid of a spent keeper and now we are signin another spent keeper .it don't make sense

    ReplyDelete
  91. liverpool4life5659:47 pm, August 31, 2013

Back up option and better than jones

    ReplyDelete
  92. if you contemplate failure then thats what you achieve

    ReplyDelete
  93. But he is left footed though. Can only see him playing LB at this moment. Unless agger gets injured(hope not). Or his form drops ridiculously low.

    ReplyDelete
  94. same here of all the defenders we were linked with this is the player i wanted..sick to death of watching us get out muscled at the back

    ReplyDelete
  95. Not true. Rooney and Ronaldo never once got the better of Sami. Show me proof. In fact, it's the opposite. A prime example is the 4-1 hammering in 2009. Sami wasn't even supposed to be playing that game, but he started, and put in an imperious performance, and Rooney/Ronaldo were in his pocket for the entire game.

Drogba did him a couple of times, and Thierry Henry gave him a torrid time in Arsenal's 4-2 victory in 2004 (though none of the goals were as a result of Hyypia losing out in one-on-ones)

    ReplyDelete
  96. In other news, Pepe had 2 errors today that led to goals today - got nutmegged. At this rate he'll be back next season :(

    ReplyDelete
  97. We didn't know who we were signing this transfer ,who knows who were getting in a year ?

    ReplyDelete
  98. if rogers has shelled out 17m m8 hell be playing

    ReplyDelete
  99. They still won though... keeps the heat off a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  100. liverpool4life5659:51 pm, August 31, 2013

The president of his club has confirmed it on brazil radio.... :) that it's "possible" than he will loose him to us :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. u must be jokin given is finished and no hes not better than jones

    ReplyDelete
  102. liverpool4life5659:53 pm, August 31, 2013

How is he finished??? you will be proven wrong, I bet you was one of them people who wrote Toure off before he signed.

    ReplyDelete
  103. why does that not suprize me the man is crap what a difference now havin a cat that makes saves

    ReplyDelete
  104. liverpool4life5659:56 pm, August 31, 2013

Sahko has also played RCB, but most likely agger will be rested for a few weeks because of a thigh injury.

    ReplyDelete
  105. My memory is horrible :( I cant remember who else but it's okay doesnt matter anyways, hope we come 4th or higher

    ReplyDelete
  106. whats toure got to do with given hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  107. Why dont we sign Leandro of Gremio. and where did u get this from?

    ReplyDelete
  108. I only post on subjects that I know about ie that art of donning the turtle doves .and 2ndly you would lose ur bet

    ReplyDelete
  109. Given is shit... absolutely shit

    ReplyDelete
  110. Most teams have two right footed CB ,if we have 2 left foot ones ,it doesn't matter and he can cover LB ,but I've read he prefers CB ,same as carra at RB in the past

Plus given will be a good cover better than jones
And if reina ends up coming back and not signing for barca,it means he'll have toup his game to dislodge minolet, better to have 2 quality goalkeepers

    ReplyDelete
  111. arnt turtle doves eeess

    ReplyDelete
  112. "the man is crap"...Oh c'mon! I'm glad we have Mignolet.... BUT Pepe isn't crap...he's still a good keeper even if he's not a great one any more.

    ReplyDelete
  113. liverpool4life56510:00 pm, August 31, 2013

Given isn't "finished" of given a chance he would do well. Good second keeper

    ReplyDelete
  114. Reina is horrific rubbish goalkeeper these days

    ReplyDelete
  115. Pepe cost us afew points e.g Man City 2nd time Aguero goal

    ReplyDelete
  116. Jamie, you're a wanker!

    ReplyDelete
  117. ...if that's the case you wouldn't call Pepe a "crap" keeper....

    ReplyDelete
  118. ill second that i didnt rate him in his pomp good shot stopper shit at high balls and distribution

    ReplyDelete
  119. It's abit too late for deal in continents like brazil. Having to agree a fee, then player coming over for medical and personal terms, then applying for work permit which he may not even be granted. Wayy too late mate. Although he's got serious potential

    ReplyDelete
  120. nor a non league side

    ReplyDelete
  121. He's being monitored by Liverpool that doesn't mean it's a done deal mate

    ReplyDelete
  122. Pre-contract him for January?

    ReplyDelete
  123. liverpool4life56510:04 pm, August 31, 2013

Because people said he was "finished"

    ReplyDelete
  124. You're pretty much right

    ReplyDelete
  125. who said that i never saw a post on this forum saying hes finished

    ReplyDelete
  126. liverpool4life56510:05 pm, August 31, 2013

Agree good talent and Jorge Luiz Rosrigues

    ReplyDelete
  127. liverpool4life56510:06 pm, August 31, 2013

We've contacted them about him and their president has confirmed he may be on his way to us :)

    ReplyDelete
  128. bullied?Ronaldo brazillian maybe Drogba terrorized maybe bullied defo no Coates to soft

    ReplyDelete
  129. ive posted for the 3 seasons how crap reina was point now proven hes now in Italy producing more crap

    ReplyDelete
  130. Reina is rubbish absolutely shit

    ReplyDelete
  131. liverpool4life56510:06 pm, August 31, 2013

Better than jones. I would trust given more than jones

    ReplyDelete
  132. Not a bad shout mate but that's not a skill our mr Ayre possesses..getting players to have their hearts set on moving after couple months in which there could be more clubs willing to offer far more.

    ReplyDelete
  133. liverpool4life56510:09 pm, August 31, 2013

You trust jones more than given??

    ReplyDelete
  134. liverpool4life56510:09 pm, August 31, 2013

Quiet a few people did when we signed and was moaning :)

Jorge Luiz Rodrigues check his twitter, brazil journalist

    ReplyDelete
  138. Ayre is useless so I guess it wont happen :/
Maybe if we still need a winger a cheeky bid for Pato?

    ReplyDelete
  139. I've watched him play and if we can get his playing his best football again, he and Daniel will be quite the force in defence for us I have no doubt. Question is, does BR throw him into the united game? I certainly hope so!

    ReplyDelete
  140. liverpool4life56510:11 pm, August 31, 2013

I haven't seen that, I only checked that guys twitter said something else, was that a interview he gave to a radio station??

    ReplyDelete
  141. I thought he was agood experience back up

    ReplyDelete
  142. most where in favor for kolo for free it was the 12m for williams which no one wanted

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  144. I dont get it either

    ReplyDelete
  145. liverpool4life56510:16 pm, August 31, 2013

    Jorge Luiz Rodrigues (@jorgeluizrod) tweeted at 9:39pm - 31 Aug 13:

Globo Radio: Roberto Dinamite, president of Vasco da Gama, has said there's a possibility of losing midfielder Danilo to #LFC

    ReplyDelete
  146. but havin the back up cat on 110k aweek not goin to happen reina is history

    ReplyDelete
  147. Highlight the word possibility and read the President quotes

    ReplyDelete
  148. That's doable but I seriously do not think its going to happen. He pretty much flopped in Italy due to his promise in the beginning. Coutinho written all over this. But not gna cost 8.5 million is he

    ReplyDelete
  149. Pato would be a boss signing for us for around 10m

    ReplyDelete
  150. liverpool4life56510:19 pm, August 31, 2013

That's why I put "possible" in one of my comments :)

    ReplyDelete
  151. That's good #sweg

    ReplyDelete
  152. ..so that makes him "crap"? Not great any more maybe...(and even then no goalkeeper infallible, no player come to that)....but crap is far too strong. I'm happy we swapped when we did but Pepe ain't crap....

    ReplyDelete
  153. He's utter shite some of the saves he couldn't make I would've made them for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  154. they use to be sondico in my days

    ReplyDelete
  155. Two right footed CB's are normal. Have you noticed that left footers' weaker feet are useless/less effective. Eg mata, silva, Enrique. So no one takes that risk. Name me a team that has two left footed CB's playing in the first team

    ReplyDelete
  156. Must be why Rafa got him...and Barca lined him up before Valdes decided to stay another year then. Cheers for clearing that up.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I'm right footed and have played CB before and it my teammate who's left footed cannot even clear with his left foot, its normal.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Reina is crap. I feel sorry for Barca if they bought a rubbish goalkeeper who has lost form last 3 years ago

    ReplyDelete
  159. Brilliant news - if only we'd gone ahead and made the Capoue signing that I've been calling for for the last couple of years, I'd be convinced that we'd be ready for a real challenge at the top.

Eitherways, this is another significant step in the right direction, for me!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Good nees for LFC. ALTHOUGH we did not get all our targets i feel the squad is mire balanced and much stronger.

    ReplyDelete
  161. ...have you been on some bubblespeak management course? Contemplating failure is part of making every preparation you can to ensure it doesn't happen. Besides I rather suspect it's not about what you or I "contemplate".

  162. Good Stuff! I'm also confident in Brendan's ability to bring out the best of his players. I think he's gonna do very well for us. Also sounds like he was extremely popular at his previous Club. Which tells me he must be a likeable guy with Character.
Now, fingers crossed for Moses and Ilori!

  163. Amazing LFC, Napoli or Barca haven't signed you then really?

    ReplyDelete
  164. He has been a great servant for the club. A very composed goalkeeper..passwise. Soo comfortable on the ball. Which is more than I can say for mignolet. But if we had reina, we would be hovering around relegation zone with two points. We moved him on like he would've moved on if barca came calling.

  165. Thanks for posting this up! Is it definately Ilori??
I hope so! Things looking even better now. Should give the rest of the team a confidence boost too. Just in time for the Manure game too!

  167. Hope your'e right, coz I think the foto JK posted is Ally,

  168. He is miles better than Jones.

  169. So many positive comments from LFC supporters. It's fantastic and a pleasure to read everyone's comments.

Hopefully these signing gives the team the extra bit of confidence needed to get that victory over Man U tomorrow.

  170. IF You are a proffesional Athlete who wants to win things winning is what you must have in mind you can't comprimise and expect to be competetive thats mediocraty

  171. Clear picture of him at Melwood, I think the pic is Ally Sissoko, not 100% sure, but anyway, if Blanc confirmed it, then its a done deal.

  172. Yess my fellow lfc fan. The incoming signings have given everyone a boost. Best of luck the redmen tomorrow

  173. Not arguing he's not been as good as he was, I was happy to see him off and Mignolet in.... just don't believe that makes him "crap"....also given Napoli are doing very well I don't think your argument that he is "producing more crap" holds any water at all at present.

  174. Nope, it's its 100% Sakho

    ReplyDelete
  175. ...As I tried to point out, given neither you are I are playing the games your point is completely irrelevant... this is a website not a dressing room. An assessment by me, to which you were responding, is not going to change the mentality of the team.

  176. Thats 9 months wages we dont have to pay Coates, + his medical bills, he was injured on International duty, so his FA have him insured, its compulsory.

    ReplyDelete
  177. He's a first teamer ,anyone who thinks otherwise are disalussioned ,as it stands we have agger and koule as main ones but agger I assume then koule as cover for sahko and agger

    ReplyDelete
  178. i wonder if the coaching staff agree with you they may as well give in now right?

    ReplyDelete
  179. They aren't listening/reading/feeling the vibrations! ...It's got NOTHING to do with it!

  180. Great news. Think Sakho's better than Agger, he's pure class. Toure's been great but he's not for long term. Fantastic to have all of them with injuries & rests to take into account over a season, & with Ilori & Cissokko (& Skirtel?) we've got great strength & depth in defence. C'mon Brendan& FSG, get an attacking midfielder (or 2) & we're ready to do battle. Yeah!

  181. Yes I read that article, he was voted best player at the Toulon Tournament.

    ReplyDelete
  182. No intention of taking him yet, as he is only 17, Brazil's rule is they must leave at 18, so I read recently.

    ReplyDelete
  183. what do you think the score will be on sunday what are your vibes cos when our team walks out to wipe the floor with the scum they will feel the vibe from allaround Anfield you think they don't read why not most young men into football have to read to keep in touch with the football news

    ReplyDelete
  184. Your point has nothing to do with my post as you've gone off on a tangent...and then some. Have a good night..... Hopefully now if the players are engrossed in this conversation as you seem to think they will toddle off to bed as it's late and they have a big game tomorrow.

  190. well beaten by Shangri-La Athletic tonight though...

  191. Dont dampen the joy, let us gloat for a few hours.

    ReplyDelete
  192. Who cares, this guy isn't running down the left wing trying to feed crosses. I still go okay playing left wing as a right footer!

    ReplyDelete
  193. Great signing. Good to see some positivity in comments too! So according to the mirror Sunderland want some of that Fabio Borini. Bon Voyage? Cant see Rogers letting him go myself. And without an adequate replacement I probably wouldnt either.
