Agent urges £40m LFC star to quit Anfield for 'huge club'.

Earlier this week, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez reportedly stated that he would be happy to 'listen to offers' from other clubs this summer. The Uruguayan swiftly moved to claim that his words had been 'twisted', but it's the speculation persists and will continue until his future is solidified this summer. Juventus and Bayern Munich are both reportedly interested in signing Suarez, and an Agent close to Pepe Guardiola has urged Suarez to leave Anfield ASAP.

In an interview with Tuttosport last night, FIFA agent Giovanni Branchini - who claims that he 'works closely' with Suarez's Agent, Pere Guardiola, said:

“Do Juventus have what it takes to convince him? Certainly. Suarez must leave Liverpool as it is counter-productive to remain, outside the Champions League and away from the prospect of growth in his peak.

“Suarez needs to fully understand the appeal of the Bianconeri, what Juve have represented, do represent and will represent. They are a huge club and do not need to beg anyone, as great players already dream of going there"

Former Italy international Marco Tardelli also believes that Suarez would be the ideal solution to Juventus' attacking problems. He told Tuttosport:

"It's obvious that a striker who scores 20 goals a season would be a good addition for any team. Good players are not cheap, though. Suarez would be ideal due to his power, technique and directness, but I'd say signing him could be a complicated matter"

On Thursday, The many reputable news organisations - including the BBC, The Guardian, the Telegraph, and The Independent - reported the following comments from Suarez:

"If another team comes around with more prospects of competing in international club competition games, which is willing to have me, they are welcome."

Liverpool's propaganda machine quickly jumped into action, and the club wheeled out Ian Ayre to try and convince gullible fans that Suarez was somehow misunderstood, and that he'd definitely be staying at Anfield. Suarez himself then claimed that his words had been twisted, not in England, but in his home country of Uruguay:

"I'm sad to read these things. When it's in England, I accept it but I do not expect my words to be twisted over here [Uruguay]."

This is increasingly becoming a 'boy who cried wolf' situation. Suarerz just can't keep his mouth shut about his future, and then he moans that his words are being twisted? How is that even possible when he gave the interview in his native language? Do Uruguayans now have it in for him too? Is his home country now part of the alleged anti-Suarez conspiracy?! If you believe that, you'll believe anything. In any event, based on past evidence, there's a strong probability that Suarez's reported comments are accurate, *not* twisted:

* In an interview with the Daily Mail on the 1 February, Suarez said:

"If you want to know what will happen to me if we don't qualify for the Champions League, then I will say this: I have a contract with Liverpool and I am very happy here. I will stay"

* A few days later, Suarez reiterated that he is 'happy' at Liverpool, but despite only signing a new 'long-term' contract six months ago, he told Radio Marca:

"We should talk this [a new contract] in June or the next one, in 2014. My contract ends in 2018. The only thing missing is to have more positive results so we can finish in a Champions League spot. We would like to qualify for the Champions League if possible"

* Suarez then told Sport 890 that he would actually listen to offers if they came his way:

"I don't ever stop to read what is being said about me in the press - it would drive me mad as I'm linked to so many clubs. The day a concrete offer comes for me to the club, we will sit down and do what's best for everyone".

* Suarez then seemed to change his tune entirely and suggested that he would be 'happy' to leave for a different club. He told Mundo Deportivo:

"From here to the future you never know what will happen. The jump to an elite club would make me happy. Real Madrid and Barcelona always motivate you."

So, let's recap:

* Suarez is totally happy at Liverpool, and will stay at Anfield even if the club don't qualify for the Champions League.

* He signed a new contract - which runs until 2018 - only six months ago, but he thinks talks should take place this summer or the next on a new one.

* Despite wanting to stay at Liverpool, he is still willing to consider offers from other clubs.

* Suarez his happy at Anfield, but he's motivated by a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona, two 'elite' clubs.

Let me guess: Suarez's words were twisted in all the above statements too?!

Liverpool fans need to get their heads out of the sand. Suarez's alleged 'loyalty' is merely an illusion. He clearly has one eye on leaving the club, and his various comments prove that. Fans will remain in denial though, continue worshipping him like some kind of God, and act all surprised and shocked when the Uruguayan does a Fernando Torres and leaves sooner rather than later.
