Liverpool Line-Up vs. QPR: Adam returns; Carroll on the bench

Charlie Adam returns to the Liverpool starting line-up for tonight's game with QPR.

Kenny Dalglish has named three central midfielders in the team, which could possibly mean two holding midfielders, but let's hope that's not the case.

With Adam's return, we could also see Gerrard on the right, but it seems likely that Dalglish will go with a 4231 formation, with Adam and Spearing in central midfield.

Starting Line-up: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Gerrard, Adam, Spearing, Kuyt, Downing, Suarez

Subs : Doni, Carroll, Henderson, Coates, Shelvey, Flanagan, Aurelio

I would like to see this formation:

---------------------- Reina

Kelly ---------- Carra --- Skrtel ---------- Enrique

Gerrard -------- Adam ---- Spearing -------- Downing

---------------- Kuyt ---- Suarez

Another possibility (4231):

---------------------- Reina

Kelly ---------- Carra --- Skrtel ---------- Enrique

---------------- Adam ---- Spearing

Kuyt -------------- Gerrard -------- Downing

------------------- Suarez

  3. weird selection 3 central midfielders, just hope gerrard wont play on wings as im expecting, with this team id play gerrard up front with suarez just behind him is the best solution i reckon but i think he'll be on the right wing and kuyt will play alongside suarez which would be wrong for me

  4. Obviously he should defer to your far greater knowledge and experience eh?  Come on, we all know it's easier on the x-box.  Give KD some credit and some time and stop acting like you know it all.

    Kuyt---------------------------Downing

    ---------------Suarez

Kuyt got to a WORLD CUP FINAL playing left of three forwards for Holland whilst Downing had his best season ever for Villa last season playing on the right of three forwards.  Guess how they'll play tonight? exactly opposite.  Crazy.

  10. Im sick and tired of Pepe Reina. He doesn't even bother trying so save some goals, just stands there. We can put a 7 foot scarecrow in goal and it would be more effective. Try Doni! We have nothing to lose in the Premier League, and maybe Doni will attempt some movement at least during the opposing teams 3 shots on target.

  11. To loose 3-2 after being 2-0 is completely disgusting and the players should be ashamed of themselves. Top six is looking out of the question now, never mind top four!

  13. Laughable, losing 3-2 against QPR im sorry this is unacceptable for liverpool's standard. How long can this go on and whos to blame. Our league position is a joke and u cannot cover it up with a mickey mouse cup. What this really does tell us that we need some serious investment. Without Agger we are seriously suspect at the back. INTERESTED TO HEAR KENNYS THOUGHTS ON THIS AS ITS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!

  15. You may fault KK for today's game if you like, but two of his substitutions were forced. But what the hell did Henderson contribute when he came in? Nada!!! The players should be ashamed of themselves today. Mental frailties; this is definitely not champions league stuff. There's a serious problem in that team; I wonder how it will be rectified. Disgusted!!!

  18. KD has to go! LFC hasn't progressed no matter how he spins it, the club has regressed. Bring back Benitez!

  19. They are waiting for the next time that the team wins a game, even if it takes another 3 or 4 games, and then they'll be back on saying that it proves the team is progressing and next season it will all click into place.
