REVENGE? The FA targets Luis Suarez's most vocal supporter...

When it comes to blunt, outspoken support for Liverpool FC's Luis Suarez, Brighton manager (and fellow Uruguayan) Gustavo Poyet has been El Pistolero's most passionate advocate. However, the former Chelsea man may be about to pay the price for publicly criticising English football's alleged Governing body.

After Suarez was banned for 8 games, Poyet rubbished the decision and called it 'Incredible, shocking and disproportionate', and it seems that the FA is about to (indirectly) take revenge on the former Chelsea man for his stinging public criticism of the organisation.

The FA released a statement on its site a couple of days ago announcing that Poyet had been charged for 'improper conduct during his side’s game at Coventry City on 31 December 2011'

There are no details on the FA's site about exactly what this conduct is, but the timing - very soon after Suarez's ban - is rather interesting to say the least.

Of course, I'm not literally suggesting that in the pursuit of petty revenge, the FA was deliberately on the lookout for any tiny infraction they could pin on Poyet (!) but if I was a conspiracy theorist, that's a conclusion that could be drawn.

I have no doubt that when the FA finally reveals the nature of Poyet's 'improper conduct', it will be something incredibly minor.

  1. Isn't this similar to what you said about the Suarez case in the beginning. "No top flight player has ever ...". LOL. Actually I think I know what has happened. Since Fergie's MI4 team is resting after a successful mission in Ghost Protocol, his other trusted lieutenant (Darren's mate in the FA committee) has been instructed to eliminate all dissenters. Also at the recent FIFA awards Sepp Blatter said some good things about Sir Alex. You can do a post on that. I think Fergie's now going to control FIFA. You heard it first here.

  2. Brighton have stood by him, without T-Shirts!

Didn't someone accuse Brighton fans of being racist to Bellamy when we played
them but they were singing "Seasiders" not "Sheep Shagger " the week before we
    played Man U!

FA just waiting to get their teeth into a racism case???????

    Conspiracy !!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I thought the Hitler Movement had gone. Is Adolf running the FA. I thought wiskey nose ran the FA.
Has the FA charged man u for surrounding the ref at the Man city game. NO,   we got £20,000 fine.  This Goverment inquiry should bring all the corruptness and back handers out in the open from furgy.

  6. Mancini's comments today about Liverpool's stand for Suarez are part of a mind game. Seems a lot opposition teams are trying to gain against Liverpool by reminding us about Suarez issue.

Liverpool should blast Mancini to mind his own business.

  7. They think they are unstoppable and can do what they like, something needs to change because it's not fair what they are doing. Everyone has the right to their own opinions, and the FA are hardly ever right in their decisions so they are always going to have people who disagree with them.

  8. I assume they are already asking Ferguson what the charge should be, who he wants on the 'independent' commission, and of course, which evidence they should ignore. Then they can dress it up in a 115 doucument which claims he is 'probably' guilty without any proof whatsoever. Justice FA style.

  9. Has Fergie got his hand stuffed up your arse as well you Puppet or is that MUPPET!

  10. The Anti-Racism groups are the SS/Brown Shirts, the FA's troops! Use threats of humiliation, slander, global standing and insults as a tool of fear to back up their threats so you don't appeal!

  11. Has Suarez got his hand stuffed up your arse, JJ? Considering the way you defend him to the point of delusion, I wouldn't be surprised.

  12. Fergie up yours as well?
I don't defend Suarez he admitted to what he said! I ask the question why Evra and Fergie used n****r when he is making a serious allegation against someone and what the club thought they would be defending their player against the more serious racist comment, when he should of used the word said on the pitch, black remember to the ref and Giggs!

  13. Dress it up you how you like, JJ but to all reading your comments over the subject, know that tribal mindset clouds your judgement. Laughable and dire some of your defending of the lad in this situation.

  14. Comical some of the crap you come out with. Amazes me what tribal allegiances do to people's heads.

  15. The self-pitying and playing of the victim card on here is amusing.

  17. Is that the best you can do?

  18. Certainly beats your best. Well considering you set the standards so low, I don't feel the need to try hard. Apologies.

  19. The FA is vengeful to Suarez and by now thw whole would how it. Once AGAIN my "Puki Mak" to the england FA.

  20. Is that it? On a serious charge of racism you think it is okay to use a word that was never said?
If a man makes an allegation on the street of being called black on the street to a police man and then changes it to N****r when he is at the police station, what do you think the police are going to say especially if the accused says yes I said black but the accuser is now saying n****r he his going to call him a liar and the police are going ask the question why you changed the word when there was no need to change it?
This is the position Liverpool found themselves in pity Fergie didn't come out and say no N****r word was never said but he hasn't, kept quiet like the rest of the team who knew the word that had been said was black or negro.

  21. Wow, what a original post from JJ(!)

Same old, same old tune with no real substance to it.

At the end of the day, the club didn't appeal. The end.

Why don't you cry about how the club hasn't appealed, the mess they made, etc? You won't because you dare not criticize the club for making the balls up of the situation as you think Suarez and the club can do no wrong, Instead deflect attention away from it by talking nonsense and inspecting the likes of the FA/Mancs/Ferguson to take the entire flak.

Your saying 'rest of the team....'

Any proof for this or is it your usual load of retarded nonsense?

The FA aren't the police or the courts. There really are some thick people out there such as   JJ who still don't get that the FA did not and don't have to follow the way Police or the courts do things. So its pointless bringing out such a analogy.

  25. In the end we have our own views on how a racial case should be handled! Bit like how
Adeyemi, Oldham and Norwich conducted themselves with a bit of pride and have come out and praised LIVERPOOL for how they have conducted the enquiry good 2 way communication.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Just goes to show why it is stupid the club couldn't show the same level of professionalism regarding the Suarez situation, with the statement and shirts as well as appealed instead of whining but instead, they acted like a hot-headed teenager on a forum

    ReplyDelete
  27. So why haven't you rose above? Are you just like me?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sometimes to get through to someone, you have to talk to them on their level. That is what I am doing with you, going down to your level. A 'thanks' would be appreciated it, for my efforts in doing so. :)

  29. Rubbish, the only reason the incident was handled correctly was because the Police were involved from the start. I agree Oldham did conduct themselves correctly because LFC didn't have a choice but to engage with them. It could have been solved with Manchester United if when Dalglish went to see the ref and listened properly he would have realised that it was not cool from Suarez to use the word Negro, go to Ferguson or someone from the United camp explain and then get it sorted. Instead they decided to throw on stupid tee shirts, deny that anything happened, accused Evra of telling lies, accusing the FA of running an anti Liverpool campaign and then perpetrating the idea that from now on everyone will think that Luis Suarez is a racist when most right minded people including Patrice Evra, The FA and an independent panel have said he probably isn't. It seems that LFC enjoy creating the illusion of persecution to create a fervor that will put arses in seats. If they concentrated on their football they would be better off.

  30. I am dual parentage I have been racially abused mainly at a young age that is why I think it is important you get your facts right before you make allegations or you get this rubbish use the words that was said don't change the words then people can't question you or call you a liar!

    ReplyDelete
  31. But its ok for Liverpool to make allegations and character assassinating statement about the FA, Evra and the mancs (such as implying they only allowed Evra to do this because the potential of seeing a rival team's player banned for several games (this kind of crap should be on a forum, not a official statement by a world famouse club)), etc

    ReplyDelete
  32. Imagine they had used negro or black from the start then???????If only!
Oldham have praised Liverpool why slag it off?

  33. Reply to Count no reply sign! Because he left himself open to it by using a different WORD that's why! Do you see my point if you change the language used you open up yourself up to be attacked.

  34. wasnt too long ago there was sighs in english bars saying no dogs no blacks no irish in that order and a think you will find everyone is a racist in there own little way its not just skin colour

    ReplyDelete
  35. Still the same, one persons word over another who has changed the word continuity black to the ref and Giggs on the field then negro to his Spanish speaking teams mate in the dressing room, negro or black to Fergie, then Fergie to the ref again negro or black.
SIMPLE as that when making a racist claim.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Definately 'BITTER'

  40. Adeyemi comment was heard by  others and probably seen on cctv. Completly  different.  Not one player from  Utd supported Evra, NO witnesses. Only found guilty because the FA wanted a scape goat to prove they are strong on racist comments.  Probablity is all the FA have. Not enough in a court!
