VIDEO: Liverpool 1-0 QPR. Luis Suarez's goal wins the game...

Kenny Dalglish seems determined to stop the *proven* combination of Luis Suarez, Craig Bellamy and Maxi Rodrigues playing in the same team, and has named a side with Maxi and Suarez starting, and Bellamy on the bench.

The full team:

Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Adam, Henderson, Downing, Maxi, Kuyt, Suarez.

Subs: Doni, Kelly, Carragher, Shelvey, Bellamy, Coates, Carroll

The chosen team is more than good enough to win the game, I just don't see the logic in dropping yet another one of the club's most effective players to the bench.

It looks again like money talks - Stewart Downing and his price tag chosen ahead of Bellamy.

Here is the winning goal:

  4. even tho we won im feel ashamed to be honest just 1-0 against qpr, come on even fulham beat them 6-0 that was just too poor result dont get me wrong im happy we won but i just dont like this, we used to be the team who scored enough in the past years 15 weeks gone we still cant record a 3-0 win thats sad enough inst it, kenny ruined the whole team players he bought are not the ones to play for this club, never.

  5. Downing looked better playing on the right today, and Maxi (despite not hitting the back of the net) got himself into great positions for goalscoring attempts - he didnt score but at least he is finding the space and oppurtunities through movement which is a lot more than what Andy Carroll offers - in short we are better when he is on the pitch.

Suarez scored, but we cannot hide from the fact that he is not a finisher, we need someone desperatley in Jan or the summer who is going to convert chances whilst Andy Carroll takes his time to "adapt"

3 points nevertheless, lets hope City beat Chelsea or draw to reduce the gap to 4th.

  6. Everything is rosy..king kenny is the best..we will win the league..drop maxi next game and bring in Andy Carroll because kk likes to change a winning team..we are playing attacking football that's why we have already scored 18 goals in only 15games..Carroll looked really good whilst he was warming up..he deserves his chance..

  7. Suarez had an immense scoring record in Holland and he has been banging them in for Uruguay, so there's no substance to the "he's not a finisher' comment. He needs better service and the team need to stop trying to walk it into the back of the net. Personally, I'd play Shelvey every match behind Suarez. I watched the kid play at Blackpool and, because of that loan spell, he's the club's top league scorer. He plays without fear, yes, he's only 19 but have you seen the size of him?!?!
The two freekicks he scored against Wigan reserves during the week were top drawer (as was Suso's goal), he should have been on today and I'm sure he'd step up to the plate to take our set pieces.

  8. So one thing we found out today is that we do not need a defensive midfielder when we play at Anfield.

Second thing we found out is that even with Kuyt and Maxi both in the team we still cannot hit the back of the net.

Adam is showing his class, what a ball he supplied to Suarez! Henderson had a very good game and Downing put in a good shift.

3 points yes but we should be slaughtering teams like QPR. The only thing we are missing right now is a fully fit Gerrard. He is back in training but hopefully he can stay fit as his injuries are becoming more and more frequent.

When will finally break the duck when it comes to scoring more goals?

  9. Once Stevie is back hopefully that will put Adam out of the team where he deserves.
What a performance by Adam because he h
hoofed a ball in the box..can't get a cross in over the first man but guess what he deserves player of the season for crossing a ball...maybe Ballons d'Or award for crossing a ball...just wait till January when kk will hopefully get a midfielder who deserves to wear the shirt and not a plastic wanna be Alonso who is craap but lets pretend Fergie wanted him and the daily sport said his corners are worth 20million alone....haha ...but lets believe Adam is awesome

  10. Adam actually played well. there are too many negative liverpool fans! probably to many negative people in the world, thats what wrong with the world. We scored and got the needed three points. Adam supplied the assist and has done so more than any other liverpool player this year. "redredandredder" i think you are a hero, are you not? pull ya head in think of the positives!!!! YNWA

  11. lighten up on adam i suppose i go into the adam haters, downing haters, carrol haters. But today Adam played great he for once didnt pi**s me of with fouls in our own half and made some terrific passes. I was happy with downing today he played well but will never get an assist coz lfc have forgotten how to score. However caroll is still the most embarrassing buy in the epl. 50m for nando is pretty embarrassing but at least the guys has done something internationally and performed at club level in spain and epl

  12. Incredibly negative comments here. As far as I am concerned we must be realistic. I can see very slow progress but in the right direction. Daglish has a huge job to do and he only just started, so give hime a chance. As long as we are going in the right direction I don't care how long it takes. Remember under Rafa at one point we were 10 points clear of Manure at Xmas, then we had the worst run I can remember and Rafa went in May. I'd rather it were slow, progressive improvement, than an up and down rollercoaster, finishing were we started. Keep the faith people.

  13. Yesss. Absolutely right. He is highly confident, and has the necessary skill. He can pick out a pass that the average midfielder would miss, and has an attacking eye for goal. The biggest thing going for him is that he is only 19. Great potential, miles ahead of potential buy Carroll.
