Surprise Return: Injured Liverpool star spotted in Manchester; 'well recovered' and could start today

(Potentially) good news: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that one of Liverpool's most vital players will be available for today's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp confirmed:

"Roberto will be well recovered. He's training already. He's trained the whole week. If he can be involved in team training on Saturday then physical-wise he has no issues [and] he would be completely okay."

As the following photo shows, Firmino has travelled with the squad, and was pictured out and about in Manchester today with some of his team-mates:

With Origi and Sturridge possibly out due to injury, Liverpool have no fit strikers, so it'll be a massive boost for the team if Firmino - who has scored two goals against City in previous games - is fit to play.

Plus, Man Utd's win today makes it even more important that Liverpool come away with three points today. A defeat will mean the Reds are only three points ahead of Jose Mourinho's team, who'll have two games in hand.

* Firmino: €55m-rated (CIES). Hailed as 'magnificent' by Phil Thompson.
