Liverpool XI vs. Hull: Klopp confirms massive 'decision' possible; £30m attacker out? Double injury blow?

With 9 goals scored in the last 3 games, Liverpool go into Saturday's clash with Hull in the best possible shape. Can the Reds continue this run of great form?

Jurgen Klopp's pre-match updates:

* On Sturridge and Wijnaldum: "It depends on the training. I think he'll be available, but we'll see". Gini got a knock on his knee [at Chelsea]. It was swollen and he was not at 100% for the Derby game"

* On Lallana: "He felt the intensity of the last games. He was not in the squad [for Derby] but trained".

* On Gomez: "Everything that he is doing is [going] without problems, but he has a little way to go.”

* On Mignolet vs. Karius: "Whatever decision I make is not final. It doesn’t mean we will go like this through the next 5 years".

* Aldo's view: "If we take on Hull like we did Leicester, Liverpool an make up for that Burnley defeat".

* Molby's view: "It’s impossible to predict anything other than a Liverpool win. Hull will struggle to keep up with Liverpool".

Overconfidence is a killer, and this game has 'banana skin' written all over it. Indeed, Liverpool have won just one of the last five games against Hull (two defeats and two draws from the other four games), so this result is by no means a foregone conclusion.

Probable lineup (Presupposing Lallana and Wijnaldum don't miss the game through injury/fatigue):

--------------- Karius
Clyne ----- Matip -- Lovren ----- Milner
------ Lallana - Hendo - Wijnaldum
Mane ---------- Firmino ----- Coutinho

* £30m-rated Sturridge missed three days of training this week, so Klopp will probably use that as a reason to leave him out.

* I'd rather see Can, Lucas, or Stewart in midfield at the expense of either Lallana or Wijnaldum, but that isn't likely to happen, especially at home.

If other results go the right way, Liverpool could end Saturday in the top four...
