Contact Made: €6m powerhouse reveals secret meeting with 'Klopp' and confirms Liverpool transfer is possible

After Liverpool's 1-0 Europa League victory over Rubin Kazan last month, Russian newspaper Sport-Express - claimed that Jurgen Klopp had a '15 minute chat' with Kazan midfielder Magomed Ozdoyev, but what exactly did they talk about?

Last week, Sport-Express' editor-in-chief, Artur Petrosyan, claimed:

"Liverpool are interested in Ozdoyev. Klopp had a 15-min chat with [him] in Kazan. Ozdoev's buyout clause is €6m. He's quick, good at pressing, tackling, counter attacking, key passing.".

When asked on Monday about the discussion with Klopp, Ozdoyev told Petrosyan:

"Klopp told me: 'Keep working hard and you'll be a big player. I'll be watching you'. He's a very direct man, I loved that".

It appears that this particular transfer rumours has merit, which makes a refreshing change ;-)

Some info about Ozdoev:

* 23 year old midfielder who often plays as a DM for Rubin Kazan. Current contract expires: 2019

* 11 goals in 58 apps for Kazan (1 Every 445 minutes). 6 apps for the Russia national team.

* Injury free since July 2013. Prior to that, missed only 3 games due to injury issues.

This is arguably the most credible transfer rumour since Klopp took over at Anfield.

Liverpool are constantly linked with big-money moves for international stars, but that doesn't fit with Klopp's (historical) approach to transfers. Klopp's usual MO is to make superstars out of the club's youth players and/or sign players for pennies and turn them into world-beaters.

Indeed, looking at his transfer history, Klopp signed Hummels, Gundogan, Lewandowski, and Kagawa for a combined total of €12m, which is ridiculously good value for money.

Just think about that: Hummels, Gundogan, Lewandowski, and Kagawa - four top-class European players - cost less than 50% of Adam Lallana's £26m transfer fee.

To be honest, it makes me want to throw up.
