Klopp's Lineup vs. R.Kazan: £61m duo return? Massive injury boost? Coutinho replaced by Firmino?

After the 0-0 draw with Spurs, Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for his first win as Liverpool boss on Thursday, and after two draws already in the Europa League, the Reds need to start winning ASAP, or risk embarrassing early elimination from the tournament.

Pre-match news:

* Ings, Gomez, Henderson, Lovren, Benteke, Sturridge, and Firmino all remain on the sidelines.

* According to the Liverpool Echo, however, Benteke and Firmino are 'expected back in full training this week', which suggest they may be in contention for Thursday's game.

* The Echo also claims: "Klopp expects Sturridge to be available for Rubin Kazan on Thursday". If Sturridge doesn't make it, then it'll be obvious that his latest injury is more than just 'a little swelling'.

* Rubin Kazan are currently 12th in the Russian Premier League after just one win six games (three defeats, one draw, and one win). As such, it's arguably a good time to face them, and with Liverpool at home, a positive result is a definite probability (or should be).

* Joao Teixeira made the bench for Saturday's game with Spurs, but Rodgers failed to include him in the Europa League squad, so unfortunately, he won't play any part in the game.

It'll be interesting to see how Klopp treats this game. Rodgers fielded weaker teams in the Europa League, and used the competition to blood youngsters, but after SIX draws in the last SEVEN games, Liverpool need to get back to winning ways, so hopefully Klopp will field a strong side, and take the competition seriously.

Possible team: With Benteke, Firmino* and Sturridge

--------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Skrtel --- Sakho --- Moreno
----------- Lucas -- Milner
Sturridge ---- Firmino --- Lallana
-------------- Benteke

Possible team: Without Benteke, Firmino, and Sturridge

--------------- Mignolet
Clyne ---- Skrtel --- Sakho --- Moreno
------------ Lucas - Can
----- Milner - Coutinho - Lallana
---------------- Origi

* Combined cost: £61m

PREDICTION LEAGUE

My prediction: 2-0 to LFC. I have a feeling Liverpool will win this game comfortably. The commitment was there against Spurs, and the crowd will be jumping as it's Klopp's first home game. Hopefully, the excitement and energy will inspire the players to put on a good show.
