  3. He seems good. We needed to start making shrewd buys, hopefully this is one of them.

  4. Not bad stats. Lets hope he can continue that at Liverpool. Im hoping the fact that he is mostly unheard of, will mean there is a bit less pressure on him to perfrom, thus allowing him to florish. Dont need Tello now! Sahin would still be good though.

  5. Also have you heard anything about Ramirez joining Southampton? Seems a bit random. Just seen it pop up in a news feed....

  6. He looks good! We definitely been lacking some African Flair in recent years...

  7. I know! I was quite surprised at this! I think they probably offered him massive wages though! Just shows the strength of the premier league.

  11. I agree! Time to change things up again! Just wondering now if we get Sahin where will he play! Keeping in mind we have Allen, Lucas and Gerrard etc... Interesting!

  13. According to news, Arsenal has hijacked Liverpool's Sahin move. Bl**dy gooners are selling everyone at the club for profit and still can't fork out enough to buy a decent player.
I don't understand why they have to compete on a loan deal with us

  14. If he goes to Southampton it will prove he's a mercenary, only in it for the money, and if that's the case, Liverpool will have dodged a bullet.

  15. I saw that too. Not happy!

  16. Indeed! Just like Sidgurson!

  17. I do have to agree with you unfortunatley. I liked the look of him, but I dont like it when players only move for the money. Its not like he would be getting rubbish wages at any other team.

  18. Ah well, looks like we have to move on then.

  19. Exactly. Whatever money a PL team gives him he would be set up for life. I would much rather enjoying playing the game I love then moving for the money. Not like he was going to earn peanuts here.

Another mercenary, let me introduce you to RVP! If the £73 Million deal pver 4 yearsl is correct then it's disgusting.

  20. I have to admit that come the end of last season i was more deflated and pissed off than i'd ever been, the Club/team seemed all at sea, teetering on the edge of yet another implosive "new dawn" and once again the fanbase was very much divided about the what direction we should be going in, yet here we are a few months down the line, our team/squad looks stronger in depth, our new manager seems to have settled in and got down to some good business and parts of the fanbase are beginning to feel more confident and dare i say it excited about the forthcoming season....

Some credit has to go to those people running the Club, i think we are all seeing what type of football Brendan wants to employ and with what type of players.....

As has been mentioned we seem to be avoiding the merceneries and only going for players who will relish the opportunity to play for this Club, this signing has i think shown us that with a keen scouting eye and a willingness to seal a deal without it being talked up etc, we can indeed attract some quality players to the Club.

This is a very good signing, can't wait to see us start our campaign under Brendan Rodgers.

  21. Here, here!!! Couldnt agree more! I can't wait for the new season.

  22. He will get much more playing time at Southhampton.  He also mentioned he was won over by the project Southhampton proposed.  It's over the top to say that this 'proves' he is a mercenary.

  23. I think LFC didn't put an offer in. Looks like we didn't want him and he wanted EPL football, so to go to a smaller team, well done to that lad.

  24. HEY media jackals!!! leave this guy alone, let him play football.

  25. Oussama looks good in the videos. He seems to play confidently with pace, touch and fluidity and can get a good shot off whilst moving at top speed. We can hope he'll do the same at Anfield.

  26. Still think we should take a gamble on Jordan Rhodes , he just seems a natural goal scorer , and if it didn't work out a lower league club would take him off us , if it did work out . Well
