we don't care what other say about stevie.. same was said on diego, zidane and other great players. he is our captain n we love him he's a great player. and we don't care to those do not agree..

I do think that Stevie is a great player, not the best tactically, but then great players rarely are! Zidane, Maradona and many others offered nothing tactically either.
I think Sacchi is wrong on this, gerrard is a different type of player to the one he refers to in his statement, hes a high octaine, full throttle type of player, but still great.
To say he is not a great player is simply stupid.
Hes not a great captain tho (had to get that in).
