Contact Made: Liverpool keen to sign 'special' striker who rejected Real Madrid. Transfer 'decision' expected soon

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering a summer move for one of La Liga's breakout stars of the season.

According to a recent report in Spanish newspaper AS:

"A number of number of clubs have contacted Malaga about signing Sandro Ramirez. Villarreal, Sevilla, Atletico, Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton have all shown interest".

When asked this week about Sandro's future, Malaga boss Michel conceded:

“Sandro is in demand. We cannot keep him if he doesn’t want to continue. All we can do is wait for his decision.”

Some info about Ramirez:

* 21-year old striker, who can also play on either wing.

* Contract expires: 2019.

* Barcelona: 9 goals/assists in 32 apps (One every 123 mins)

* Malaga: 20 goals/assists in 29 apps (One every 112 mins)

* 2009: Rejected the chance to join Real Madrid's youth squad.

* Apr 2017: Michel raved: "Ramirez is a special player. He's done a great job and gives us a lot. I would like to give him part of my salary to stay, but my Children have to eat".

Southampton are also reportedly interested in Ramirez, and that means only one thing: Liverpool should sign Ramirez now, or risk paying the Saints £25m for him next year ;-)
