Confirmed Teams: Klopp makes 3 changes; 'wonderful' star dropped; 30m attacker on the bench

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named a strong team for today's Premier League clash with West Brom.

FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Lucas, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi.

SUBS: Karius, Moreno, Grujic, Sturridge, Alexander-Arnold, Woodburn, Gomez.

WEST BROM:

* Three changes to the starting lineup as Woodburn, Arnold, and Klavan make way for Coutinho, Firmino, and Lucas.

* Unsurprisingly, Origi is preferred to Sturridge, who makes the bench.

* The absence of Klavan suggests a return to a back four, but you never know with Klopp; he could decide to play a back three with Lucas on the right, and Lovren on the left.

* Sturridge aside, the bench is inexperienced and/or lacking players with significant game time this season.

* Once again, Harry Wilson - who is near to 60 goals/assists now for the season - is ignored by Klopp.

Probable formation:

------------ Mignolet
Clyne --- Lovren - Matip ---- Milner
----- Can ---- Lucas --- Wijn
---- Origi -- Firmino - Coutinho

^ Klavan: Described by Klopp as a 'wonderful' player. Sturridge: £30m-rated.
