Klopp Wants Me: 'Lightning-fast' wing sensation confirms 'Liverpool' transfer 'interest'. Done deal this week?

Liverpool appear to be tracking one of the Belgian League's most promising attackers.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru claimed:

"My agency informed me Liverpool have shown interest. I am glad a big team like Liverpool too have showed interest in me".

An alleged source close to Onyekuru's club Eupen - who are currently 13th in the Belgian Pro League - further claimed:

"Onyekuru's agent told me about Liverpool’s interest yesterday. He will most likely leave before the end of this transfer window".

Some info about Onyekuru:

* 19-year old left-winger, who can also play on the right, and upfront. Contract expires: 2020.

* Eupen: 26 goals/assists in 44 apps (One every 118 mins).

* This season: 18 goals/assists in 25 apps (One every 123 mins)

* Scouting Report (Strengths): "Lightning-fast player who usually plays on the left wing despite being right-footed. Impressive speed, combined with agility and decent dribbling skills. Solid finishing skills".

* Supports Arsenal, and cites Thierry Henry as his favourite player.

* Dec 2016: When asked about his future, Onyekuru told OGN: "I’d like to go to England. I would rather go to Arsenal. There are many scouts who follow me".

A 'lightning-fast, right-footed winger? Sounds like a Sadio Mane clone, which is exactly what Liverpool need. However, Onyekuru is comparatively inexperienced, and although his creative record is decent, the Belgian League is - with respect - several quality levels below the the Premier League.

That said, recent reports suggest that Eupen will sell Onyekuru for £3m, so in real terms, there's very little financial risk involved. Worth a bid?
