Confirmed Teams: Late disaster for Liverpool; Klopp dumps £30m attacker; massive transfer hint for midfielder?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dropped Daniel Sturridge for today's Premier League clash with Man Utd.

FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Firmino, Origi

SUBS: Karius, Gomez, Moreno, Stewart, Ejaria, Coutinho, Sturridge

MAN UTD: de Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Herrera, Carrick, Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic, Martial

* Joel Matip is out of the squad due to questions about his eligibility to to play. According to the BBC: "Liverpool have withdrawn Joel Matip from their squad because they are unsure about his international clearance.".

* According to the Liverpool Echo: "Nathaniel Clyne ruled out with a rib injury today. Trent Alexander-Arnold makes his first PL start".

* Origi comes in for Sturridge, which probably makes sense as it's not really a good idea to play the striker twice in a week.

* Henderson returns to the starting lineup, which will either be a big positive, or bad decision (potentially leading to further injury).

* Lucas Leiva is not in the match-day squad, which suggests (IMO) that he may be on the verge of a transfer away.

Probable Formation:

-------------- Mignolet
Arnold --- Lovren - Klavan ---- Milner
---- Can ------ Hendo -- Wijnaldum
--- Lallana -- Firmino -- Origi

Emre Can in midfield? Urgh.

* Sturridge: £30m-rated
