Anfield MegaDeal? Boss confirms he'd sell 'incredible' £60m striker who'd consider 'Liverpool' transfer. Sign?

Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has confirmed that Jurgen Klopp's old club will consider offers for one of Liverpool's long-term transfer targets.

Liverpool have been constantly linked with Pierre Emerick Aubemeyang over the last year, and when asked on Friday about the striker's future, Zorc admitted:

"Everyone has his price in football and if an offer comes in [for Aubameyang], we will sit down and discuss it".

Back in February, Dortmiund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke Watzke made a similar statement:

“If an offer comes [for Aubemeyang], then we need to discuss it [and] talk to the player".

LFC transfer timeline (Most recent):

* Oct 2015: A Dortmund 'source' claimed that Aubemeyang would consider an 'offer to join Liverpool'.

* Jan 2016: Don Balon: claimed that Liverpool were considering a 'dizzying offer' for Aubameyang.

* Apr 2016: When asked about the Reds, Aubameyang enthused: “Liverpool have something special...and they can win the Europa League for sure.”

* Oct 2016: Ireland legend told The Times: “I don’t think Sturridge has a future. I would get Pierre Emerick Aubemeyang. He is lightning quick. He would fit".

Given his pace, and experience of working with Klopp, Aubameyang will definitely 'fit' into Liverpool's system, but his transfer fee will probably be prohibitive. Should Liverpool make a bank-breaking offer this summer and test Dortmund's resolve?

* Aubameyang: Hailed by Jurgen Klopp as an incredible player. £60m-rated (CIES)
