Confirmed Teams: Massive injury blow for Liverpool; surprise return for 'fantastic' €28m star

Jurgen Klopp is without one of his key players yet again for tonight's Premier League clash with Everton.

* TEAM: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Lallana, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Mane, Origi, Firmino

* SUBS: Karius, Lucas, Moreno, Alexander, Can, Woodburn, Sturridge

* EVERTON: Stekelenburg, Funes Mori, Coleman, Williams, Baines, Gana, McCarthy, Lennon, Barkley, Valencia, Lukaku

* SUBS: Joel, Mirallas, Cleverley, Barry, Calvert-Lewin, Holgate, Kenny

* Klopp has named the same team that beat Middlesbrough 3-0 last week.

* Joel Matip is out of the game with an ankle injury. Klavan is an able deputy, but Everton will be a much bigger attacking threat than goal-shy middlesbrough.

* Emre Can returns to the matchday squad, but has to be content with a place on the bench.

* 'Fantastic' striker Daniel Sturridge also returns to the squad, which is great news ahead of the busy Christmas period. It'll all be for nothing, though, if he can't stay fit for the next 2-3 months.

* Woodburn and Arnold make the bench again, with Ovie Ejaria sacrificed to make way for Sturridge.

Predicting a 1-1 draw today, Reds legend Mark Lawrenson told the BBC:

"These are always just absolutely mad games and, whoever is top or bottom, form has absolutely no bearing on the outcome. I am going to go with a draw, purely because I don't know what is going to happen".

Probable formation:

-------------- Mignolet
Clyne -- Lovren ----- Klavan ---- Milner
----- Lallana - Hendo -- Wijnaldum
------- Mane -- Origi -- Firmino

* Sturridge: €28m-rated.
