Agent Confirms: 'World-class' attacker who wants Liverpool transfer 'will' consider LFC 'proposal'

The agent of Liverpool target Sardar Azmoun has responded to rumours about a possible transfer to Anfield.

Over the weekend, The Guardian reported:

"Liverpool have monitored Azmoun and are considering an offer when the transfer window reopens".

ESPN further claimed:

"A source has told ESPN that Azmoun would be keen on a move to Liverpool...depending on the role in store for him at Anfield".

When asked today about Liverpool's interest, However, Azmoun's agent, Mehdi Hagitali, told ESPN:

"I read about the interest from Liverpool, but there have been no formal proposals. If some proposals come, we will look at them."

Some info about Azmoun:

* 21-year old striker. Contract expires: 2018. Spent three years at Rubin Kazan.

* Kazan/Rostov: 33 goals/assists in 87 apps (One every 132 mins). 15 goals in 20 games for Iran's national team.

* Scouting Report (Strengths): "Outstanding dribbling skills, game-reading ability, astonishing control on the ball, superb eye for goal and marvelous finishing power are his main attributes".

* Scouting Report (Weaknesses): "Slender physique does not allow him to get into one-on-one challenges with stronger players. Easily tripped or brought down".

* Jun 2015: Azmoun admitted: "I'm also in love with English Premier League and it would be a dream for me to play in England."

* Oct 2015: Iran boss Carlos Queiroz raved: "He [Azmoun] is world-class. The way he moves the ball is really brilliant and at the level of some of the best centre forwards I have worked with, like Ruud van Nistelrooy".

Talk about gross hyperbole. Azmoun has achieved nothing in the game, yet according to Queiroz, the 21-year is already 'world-class' (!) Clearly, Queiroz has been taking lessons at Hogwash, the Brendan Rodgers School of Balderdash and Bullsh^t.
