Yes Please: 57% of Liverpool fans want Klopp to sign 'oustanding' €50m attacker. LFC 'offer' made in 2014

Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for €50m-rated PSG star Edinson Cavani, but what do Reds fans think about this potential deal?

According to Italian newspaper Tutto Mercato:

"Cavani has not yet responded to PSG's offer of a three-year extension. Liverpool and Arsenal continue to monitor his situation, and Cavani has already chosen to pursue a move to England".

Liverpool have been regularly linked with 'outstanding' Cavani over the years, and in August 2014, his Agent claimed:

"Cavani had offers from Liverpool and Arsenal. He would love to play in England. He's not interested in money and fame; he just wants to be happy playing football."

I conducted a poll this week asking Liverpool fans if Klopp should sign Cavani, and 57% of participants voted YES to to the deal.

Like Suarez, Cavani - who has 11 goals in 9 games for PSG so far this season - is an extremely hard-worker on the pitch, and in that regard, he's a perfect fit for Klopp's Liverpool. Cavani's overall stats at PSG:

* 92 goals/18 assists (110) in 157 apps (One every 108 mins)

Granted, it's Ligue One, but Cavani's stats are still fantastic, and he achieved similarly impressive stats in Serie A with Napoli:

* 104 goals/26 assists (130) in 138 apps (One every 89 mins).

I voted YES to signing Cavani - he is a tough, robust proven goalscorer, and that's what Liverpool need.
