Confirmed Teams: Massive snub for 'wonderful' £20m attacker. 'Unbelievable' Academy sensation starts

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made a whopping 11 changes for tonight's EFL clash with Spurs.

FULL TEAM: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Wijnaldum, Grujic, Ejaria, Origi, Sturridge

SUBS: Karius, Clyne, Lovren, Can, Lallana, Mane, Ings

SPURS: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Davies, Dier, Winks, Onomah, Carroll, Nkoudou, Janssen

* The likes of Coutinho, Firmino, Milner, Henderson, Matip, Clyne etc don't even make the match-day squad.

* Sturridge gets a start, and it's a vital game for the striker to show that he can still do the business.

* Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria^, and Grujic also get the nod, but Cameron Brannagan is nowhere to be seen.

* After his recent injury issue, Wijnaldum starts the game, which makes sense as he'll need game time to get back to full match fitness.

* Mauricio Pochettino has also made huge changes to his team, with Eric Dier the only first-team regular names in the starting line-up.

Spare a thought for Danny Ings; even with ELEVEN changes to the team, he still can't make the starting XI, despite being hailed as 'wonderful' by Klopp this week. If Ings so 'wonderful', Jurgen, why is he on the bench? Probable formation:

---------------- Mignolet
Arnold ----- Lucas -- Klavan ---- Moreno
----- Grujic -- Stewart --- Wijnaldum
---- Ejaria -- Sturridge --- Origi

Are both Spurs and Liverpool disrespecting the League Cup with their weakened line-ups?

^ Ejaria: Hailed by U23s boss Michael Beale for his 'unbelievable technical ability.
