Confirmed: Liverpool want to sign 'amazing' £15m attacker who held 'talks' with 'Klopp'

Piotr Zielinski's summer transfer to Liverpool continues to be the worst-kept secret in football, and Udinese's Director of Football has today confirmed today Liverpool are definitely interested in signing the allegedly 'amazing' £15m-rated attacker.

Speaking to Italian radio station Radio Punto Zero, Cristiano Giaretta confirmed:

"There is interest from Liverpool and it is concrete interest. He [Zielinski] is doing very well and has the eyes of the Premier League on him.”

The story so far:

Feb 2016: The Telegraph reported: "Liverpool tried to sign Piotr Zieliński in January. The Merseyside club will try to revive that deal this summer".

Feb 2016: Daily Mail claimed: "Liverpool [will] hold talks over the signing of Piotr Zielinski. Scouts have continued to monitor his progress".

Mar 2016: Zielinski told Futbolfejs: "Some people may think it [the Liverpool move] is only rumours but I know more about it. It would be great to play alongside Coutinho".

Apr 2016: Speaking to Polish media outlet Sportowe Fakty Zielinski further confirmed: “There is a lot of truth in rumours about Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is interested in me, we've had some talks".

With 4 goals/6 assists in 32 games this season (goal every 693 mins. G/A every 277 mins), Zielinski's creative output is incredibly average, and I fail to see how he is an upgrade on any of the club's current attacking players.
