Transfer Update: Liverpool free to sign 'dazzling' attacker if Klopp makes 'extraordinary offer'. Pursue?

Liverpool are currently linked with a summer move for Atletico Nacional starlet Marlos Moreno, and according to the club's President, the exciting attacker will be allowed to leave this summer...for the right price.

Earlier this week, Portugese newspaper A Bola reported that Liverpool have 'sent scouts' to watch Moreno over the coming weeks. Brazilian daily newspaper Lance further claimed that the Reds have already made an €8m offer for the Colombian international.

When asked this week about the possibility of a transfer abroad, Nacional president Juan Carlos De La Cuesta confirmed 'interest' from European clubs, and admitted:

"It would take an extraordinary offer [to sell Moreno], but we know the market dynamics. If there is a good offer, we will consider it".

Some info about Moreno, recently described as a 'dazzling individual talent':

* 19-year old right-winger, who can also play on the left, or as a centre-forward.

* 12 goals/assists in 18 games for Nacional (One every 111 minutes). Two appearances for the Colombia national team.

* Mar 2016: Full international debut against Bolivia. Created the winning goal in the last minute of the game.

* Mar 2016: Tim Vickery, the BBC's South American football expert, offered the following assessment: "The best young talent on the continent. Fluid movement, excellent one-against-one skill. Capacity to work anywhere across the attacking line, to find space, to pick the right pass, to play intelligent one-twos and to operate as part of a team. He [Moreno] has been exceptional".

* Mar 2016: Insisted that he will develop into a 'better' player than Colombia legend Faustino Asprilla.

€8m seems like a reasonable fee for the (alleged) 'best young talent' in South America, but it's hardly an 'extraordinary' offer, and if Liverpool are serious about signing Moreno, then the club will probably have to up its offer.

With only 18 senior games to his name, though, Moreno worth much more than €8m. Obviously, he's worth whatever a club is willing to pay, but with Sheyi Ojo - who is also 18 - coming through the ranks, why not just make him a permanent member of the first-team squad, and save the money?
