Photo-Proof: Liverpool's 'outstanding' forgotten man trains with Coutinho/Firmino. Surprise inclusion vs. West Ham?

On 2nd November, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that injury crock Jon Flanagan is 'back in training' and 'much closer' to being available for first team selection. Two months later, Flanagan is well and truly back in the swing of things, and with the fixtures piling up, his return to first team action is surely imminent.

On Tuesday, 'outstanding' Flanagan played 30 minutes for the U21s, and after the game, Michael Beale offered the following update:

"He’s come through the time that he’s played fine. He showed in the moments he played that he’s in a good place. He looks very fit, I think he might have been able to play longer".

As the following photo shows, Flanagan trained with the rest of Liverpool's first team today:

With injuries once again decimating the team, there has to be a chance that Flanagan will make the bench for tomorrow's game with West Ham? It'd be a major shock if he started the game, especially with Moreno and Clyne in such solid form (two clean sheets in a row), but stranger things have happened.

Daniel Sturridge is also back in training, but Klopp has seemingly decided that he needs extra conditioning time, and according to the Liverpool Echo today, Sturridge hasn't travelled to London.

So much for this:
