With only one month to go until the transfer window slams shut, I'm sure many LFC fans - myself included - are hoping that Brendan Rodgers switches his focus to bringing older, experienced players to Anfield. The recent bid for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa seems to suggest a detour in that direction, but the club is still being linked regularly linked with untested teenage talents.
According to German newspaper Express:
"Scouts from Europe's biggest leagues are watching Borussion Monchegladbac prodigy Sinan Kurt.
"Clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Valencia, PSG and Porto are interest in signing the German U-17 star".
When asked about interest from Liverpool, a source close to the player said:
"The big clubs will always be on the lookout for top young players, and Kurt is one of those guys who is destined for greatness"
Sinan spends most of his time playing for Monchegladbach's reserve team, and his stats from last season are pretty incredible:
* 52 goals/assists in 52 games.
* Breakdown: 31 goals/21 assists.
Irrespective of the level, that is a formidable creative contribution, and if one of Liverpool's academy players produced that kind of return, Reds fans would be demonstrating outside Anfield demanding his inclusion in the first team squad.
Express claims that Kurt is available for €1m, and if that's the case, Liverpool should snap him up ASAP.

100 per cent correct
ReplyDeletenah we are gonna wait till his last year of contract to get him cheap and then lose out to spurs :/
ReplyDeletetheirs a guy down the chip shop swears hes elvis ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the look of lfc
ReplyDeletesuarz through middle , sturridge right andcosta left with coutinho and gerrard feeding them
And on the bench aspas, sterling ,downing, henderson, alen and alberto are good depth
Whatever happens arsernal or spurs should not get suarez that is season wriiten off before start
sell to chelsea if needs be
JK is the best source of information
ReplyDeletehe said we would get aspas a month earlier , first person to mention alberto and now diego costa
keep up the good work mate!
i dont know much about costa is he fast? , that is my main worry
ReplyDeletein fifa he is 73 is fifa ratings always right ?
What FIFA are you playing 06? He's rated 80 in FIFA 13. And people shouldn't judge someone based on cartoons running around, I mean andy Carroll is a 'complete striker' in the game LOL. Costa is a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteif he has the same voice ;)
ReplyDeleteHave Liverpool signed Costa?
ReplyDeletesuarez to madrid after bale goes, then ronaldo to manure, man u are coming out of this the better off lads. 40mil for Jackson martinez as a direct replacement for the troubled one, followed by the costa or muriel deal and id be happy out, its always nice to dream.....
ReplyDeletesnap him up for that price. While I dont think he will add anything for the season ahead, he still is well worth getting for 3 plus years time.
ReplyDeleteSteven Gerrard is 82 or 84, you know Stevie hes that midfielder that's rated as one of the top players in the world, so no wouldn't worry about it too much
ReplyDeleteJK and all UK sports commentators said every other day for the past year that LFC will sell Suarez and should throw him out of England. He is still our player and every major club wants him with the exception of Fergie/his defensive Garden Gnome and ManU at least they are consistent since they began the trashing of his reputation. If we get Costa and keep Suarez plus add a few more of the same ilk then the anti LFC brigade will not know who to demonise first.
ReplyDeleteIs Martinez really worth £40m?
ReplyDeleteGet him quick,Its good to see us getting them young but we need first team too. I know little about Costa so I can't really say anything about him.
ReplyDelete40m is a large outlay, I definitely agree. But if we analyse every player's value with a grain of salt, we will never bring in quality players. Martinez is a proven goalscorer and a player we should of signed last season instead of Borini, for a lower fee as well.
ReplyDeleteYes get him if he is a quality player but £40m is too much.Thats proper world class player price.Put this into consideration IF and big IF we sell Suarez for the price we want it,(Id say it'll be closer to 40-£45m) is Martinez really worth the same amount? When you put it like that I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteIf you put it like that then Martinez isn't worth so much. 40m is rumoured to be his release clause though, so if he was to be sold it would probably be for less than 40m.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't like comparing prices for different players. Either way, if Suarez didn't have such a bad rep I'm sure teams like Madrid would bid 50m+.
I'd be happy with a bid of around 20m for Martinez, which I still think is very high. Contrasted to Borini, 20m doesn't seem like too much though.
Yeah £20m is a better price....Still hella expensive though.Im still hoping we'll sign Eriksen but I highly doubt it'll happen now.
ReplyDeleteI think on the new update he went up to 80/81 so even less reason to worry ;)
ReplyDeleteJK,
ReplyDeleteIf u were king, would you have Kelly and Ibe on the first squad? I liked Ibe from last game last yr and have always liked Kelly if he can stay healthy. couldn't he be center back and not just outside?
latest s rumour is liverpool will sell suarez to arsenal if they qualify for the group stage...from the subline...........
ReplyDeletenice post jaimie
ReplyDeleteIts stated in Luis's contract that IF a team makes a bid more than 40millions and LFC aren't in CL then he can sign for them, LFC are trying their level best to stop Luis joining from Arsenal and have come up with something clever i.e, IF Arsenal qualify for CL because still they're in the qualifying stages. If that's coming from Ian Ayre then I'd say a smart guy he is.
ReplyDeleteLFC should sign him up ASAP. Those stats are even better to the Spanish kids that LFC have signed.Hope we don't miss out on him to Spurds though.
ReplyDeletethe goal is in the same place in every league, he's outscored suarez in every season, if he was playing in a better league then he'd be considered one of the best, €40 mil is a lot but if we got the same return which I think we would then its defo worth it.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand. They have qualified?
ReplyDeleteless time to replace him,i see my worst fears coming true
ReplyDeleteim personally one for begging
ReplyDeleteYou're not a Liverpool fan Kanwar.
ReplyDeleteCome on gilly, Suarez is a huge asset as big as a nuisance he is.
ReplyDeleteBy qualifying I meant the process where they're placed into the group along with other teams. From every league the top two or three are guaranteed the groups and the others who have qualified have to fight for the third or fourth position in the groups which they're going to be put into before the whole CL starts. I am not sure if its exactly as I said but I read about it somewhere about it along the lines.
ReplyDeleteWe should sign him. Maybe he's as good as Yesil. Or Marvin Pourie...it was Marvin wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat theory doesn't really hold true, look at Jordan Rhodes,do you think he'd score 40 goals in the PL? Obviously not,the strength of the league the player is in has a hugh part to play and the Primeira Liga is fairly poor.Yeah IF and thats a big if he haad the same impact he'd be worth something around that but you don't want to be making 'if' decisions with 40m.
ReplyDeletei think so yes ..... but you know us if there is a good player out there we love dragging our heels about
